A rotor such as a brake disk for a vehicle has a spring holder that circumferentially extends around an axis of the disk. A coil spring extends around the axis along the spring holder. The spring is loaded onto the spring holder by its own resilience. The spring has a load rate that generates a tension that allows the spring to move circumferentially relative to the spring holder.

Vibration inhibiting structure for rotor

A vehicular lamp equipped with an extension for covering a gap formed between a lamp body and a reflector. To improve air circulation, the extension includes a lower frame portion which has openings for communicating the area proximate the inner face of the lens with a back area of the extension. The openings are located at left and right positions of the frame portion, respectively. Furthermore, venting holes for communicating between the inside and outside of the lamp body are formed in the lamp body at positions opposed to the openings, and a shroud for introducing air flow along the inner face of the lamp body extends between the venting holes and the openings. The openings ensure a sufficient amount of air flow in the vicinity of the inner face of the lens. Thus, it is possible to prevent the inner face of the lens from becoming misted due to dew condensation.

Vehicular lamp

A vehicular headlamp including a lamp body, a lens formed of resin which covers a front opening of the lamp body, a reflector disposed in a lamp chamber defined by the lamp body and the lens, an electric bulb supported by the reflector, and a substantially cylindrical shade formed of metal and surrounding the bulb for shielding light emitted from the bulb and directing a part of the light toward a part of the reflector other than an effective reflection region thereof. The lens is inclined with respect to the optical axis of the headlamp. The shade has a cut-out portion for transmitting light emitted from the bulb through a side part thereof, and the shade is provided with an inclined portion at a front end portion thereof shaped so as to correspond to the shape of the inclined lens surface.

Vehicular headlamp having thermally protected front lens

An vehicular lighting unit in which a connector is prevented from being dislodged and disconnected from a light bulb due to vibration of the connector during operation of the vehicle, and the connector is prevented from short-circuiting and touching the lit bulb that has been heated to high temperatures. The lighting unit includes a lamp housing, a lens covering the front opening of the lamp housing, a reflector placed in the lamp space formed with the lamp housing and the lens, and a bulb detachably fitted to the reflector, wherein an opening for use in replacing the bulb is formed on the rear side of the lamp housing, a detachable cover member is provided for the opening, a power supply cord is passed through the cover member, and a connector for coupling the power supply cord and the connecting cord connected to the bulb is fitted into the recessed portion provided inside the cover member and fixedly supported thereby.
