The battery includes a battery enclosure that includes opposing top and bottom sides in a height direction, opposing left and right sides in a width direction, and opposing front and rear sides in a length direction. A first engaging portion extends in the length direction. A first lower surface is positioned on a plane between the top side and the bottom side in the height direction. A first rib is provided between a plane of the first engaging portion and the plane of the first lower surface in the height direction. A first upper surface is positioned on a plane between the top side and the bottom side in the height direction. A first wall is provided between the plane of the first lower surface and the plane of the first upper surface in the height direction.

Secondary battery assembly including metallic body and battery cell

In case a similar component-to-be-loaded is erroneously loaded on a main body side apparatus, contact of terminals are avoided. To this end, a video camera (main body side apparatus)has a main body side terminal, and a battery pack (component-to-be-loaded)has a battery side terminal (component-to-be-loaded side terminal). In the vicinity of the battery side terminal of the component-to-be-loaded, a discriminating tabis provided, and a blocking portionis provided in the vicinity of the main body side terminal of the video camera (main body side apparatus) for determining whether or not its loading is permitted based on the combination of concave and convex engagement with respect to the above-mentioned discriminating tab, and when the loading is not permitted due to the interference between the blocking portion and the above-mentioned discriminating tab, an electric connection between the main body side terminal and the battery side terminal (component-to-be-loaded side terminal) is not to be established.

Method for preventing erroneous loading of component-to-be-loaded on main body side apparatus, component-to-be-loaded and battery pack

Disclosed is a battery device including a battery enclosure incorporating a battery cell. The battery device further includes an output terminal that outputs power of the battery cell. The battery enclosure includes a first surface, a second surface, a first step surface, a second step surface, a first engaging portion, a second engaging portion, a first groove, and a second groove formed in the second step surface and the second engaging portion, and a recess is provided in at least one of the first step surface and the second step surface.
