In an electromagnetic relay, terminal slits into which a coil terminal connected to a coil, a fixed contact terminal to which a fixed contact is attached, and a movable contact terminal electrically connected to a movable contact are inserted into is formed in a base, and the base is formed with ventilation holes used to discharge gas generated in an internal space and discharge vapor generated in the internal space. The ventilation holes are formed so as to be connected with the terminal slits.

Electromagnetic relay for vehicle

An electromagnetic clutch includes a first rotation transmission portion, annular field core, rotation stop member, second rotation transmission portion, armature, and spring member. The annular field core is supported by the first rotation transmission portion via a first bearing. The first bearing is housed in a hollow portion of the field core and fitted on an inner circumferential surface of the field core. The rotation stop member includes a flat portion which is fixed to an end of the field core on a side opposite to the armature. The flat portion is formed integrally with a retaining piece which projects toward the hollow portion of the field core and faces the first bearing when viewed from the axial direction of the field core.

Electromagnetic clutch

An electric horn () has a coil bobbin () in a casing (). A fixed iron core () is fixed in a hole () in the coil bobbin () and is magnetized to define an exciting coil (C). A moving iron core () is at the center of a diaphragm () at the open end of the casing () and faces the fixed iron core (). The moving iron core () is displaced relative to the fixed iron core () by a power supply of the exciting coil (C); thus beeping an alarm. The moving iron core () has an end face toward the fixed iron core () that strides over a reference position (N) within the amplitude (W) of the moving iron core (). The end portion on the moving iron core () side of the wound portion () of the exciting coil (C) is the reference position (N).

Electric horn

In an electromagnetic clutch, an annular exciting coil having a pair of connecting portions at its intermediate winding portion, a coil bobbin, having a first coil holding groove for holding the exciting coil, and a coil cover, having a second coil holding groove for holding the exciting coil projecting from the coil bobbin, are stored in a yoke to expose a storing portion formed on the coil cover and having a pair of through holes from which the connecting portions of the exciting coil are led out. A temperature fuse is stored in the storing portion and has a pair of lead wires. A pair of intermediate terminals are arranged to oppose each other through a predetermined distance, and have lead press-insertion grooves where the lead wires of the temperature fuse are to be press-inserted, and coil press-insertion grooves where the connecting portions of the exciting coil led out from the through holes are to be press-inserted. A terminal cover fixes the intermediate terminals. A rotor has an annular groove for storing the yoke, and a first friction surface formed by a side surface opposite to the annular groove. An armature has a second friction surface to be magnetically attracted by the first friction surface.

A terminal engagement-insertion portion for an electromagnetic coupling device to be inserted into the through hole of a yoke is provided with two terminal holding portions and each of which has a coil engagement-insertion groove and a terminal engagement-insertion hole. In addition, an insertion portion to insert the guide portion of a terminal housing thereinto is defined between the terminal holding portions. While the guide portion is being inserted into the insertion portion, the terminals are electrically connected with the ends of an exciting coil, respectively.

Electromagnetic coupling device

The armature assembly (9 or 17) includes a hub (10 or 19) adapted to be connected to and rotate with an input shaft (8 or 18). The hub (10 or 19) includes a flange (10a or 19a) connected to a composite material armature support plate (12 or 21). Rubber dampers (15 or 23) are molded to rivets (14 or 24) and are pressed into cylindrical peripheral walls (12a or 21b) of damper holder sections (13 or 22). The rivets (14 or 24) are staked to an armature (16 or 25). The rubber dampers (15 or 23) bias the armature (16 or 25) into contact with surface of a stopper (10e or 21g) when an electromagnetic clutch (1) is not energized and a space (G or G.sub.2) is formed that extends axially from the armature (16 or 25) to the armature support plate (12 or 21) and radially outward from the stopper (10e or 21g).

Armature assembly in an electromagnetic coupling device

An improved commutator usable for an electric motor of the type adapted to be press fitted onto the support shaft of a rotor which is accommodated in the motor. The inner wall of the commutator comprises a plurality of larger diameter portions of which inner diameter is larger than the outer diameter of the support shaft and a plurality of press fitting portions of which inner diameter is smaller than the outer diameter of the support shaft. Press fitting of the commutator onto the support shaft is achieved by elastic bending deformation of the press fitting portions on the inner wall of the commutator in the outward direction. Typically, the inner wall of the commutator comprises three larger diameter portions and three press fitting portions. No preliminary machining is required on the inner wall of the commutator before press fitting is effected. The amount of press fitting allowance can be increased remarkably compared with any conventional commutator.
