An automatic angle adjusting apparatus for adjusting vehicle equipments to be adjusted to optimum angular positions to a driver such as a fender mirror, an inner mirror, blowing ports of an air conditioner, a speaker and a meter is disclosed. Amounts of adjustment of vehicle seat parts are detected by amounts of adjustment detectors and the optimum angles of the vehicle equipments, a height of the driver or an eye position of the driver are calculated based on the detection signals to automatically adjust the vehicle equipments to the optimum angular position. When the height or the eye position of the driver is calculated, the optimum angles are further calculated based on the calculated height or eye position.

A fail safe circuit is provided in the receiver of a multi-signal transmission system which includes a transmitter and a receiver each of which incorporates a resettable power supply. The fail safe circuit comprises a signal check circuit which detects whether a check bit has been received or not and a power supply reset circuit which, when the check bit is not present, once shuts off and then resets both the power supplies incorporated in the receiver and the transmitter in order to initialize the transmitter and the receiver.

An arrangement is proposed which is adapted to prevent misconnection between two optical connectors each having a female half and a male half. The female half is formed with a projection and the male half is formed with a hole to receive the projection. A guide plate having one corner beveled is mounted on the projection to prevent misconnection.

In the system where multiple devices share one circuit by a sequential transmission system, each of the devices is adopted to monitor the transmission from a device one stage before the device which is immediately prior to the device and when a predetermined period of time passes after the transmission from the devices two stages before the device was made, the device is made to start its own transmission without waiting for the transmission from the device immediately therebefore. The transmission control system mentioned above does not fail and the sequential transmission continues even if a part of the devices fails.
