A device includes a first member having a first surface, and a second member having a second surface that is partially or wholly in contact with the first surface. The first member and the second member are configured to operate relatively. The first member has a flow path of a lubricant that has an opening provided in the first surface.

Device

A refill includes a peripheral wall defining a space capable of accommodating staples therein. The peripheral wall includes a bottom wall having a first side, a second side opposite to the first side, and a third side connecting end portions of the first side and the second side, a first side wall standing from the first side, a second side wall standing from the second side and opposing the first side wall, and a front wall positioned above the third side and connecting the first side wall and the second side wall. A first opening is formed on the first side wall and the front wall to extend across a boundary between the first side wall and the front wall.

A cartridge includes a staple support part provided on a front end face. The staple support part includes an inclined surface protruding obliquely from the front end face in a striking direction, and is configured to support a crown portion of the staple with the inclined surface and a pair of leg portions of the staple with side edge portions of the inclined surface. The side edge portion has: a connection portion continuing to the inclined surface and extending from the inclined surface in an opposite direction to a feeding direction of the staple, by a first length; and a leg portion contact portion extending with being folded from a tip end portion of the connection portion in the feeding direction by at least the first length, and configured to support corresponding one of the pair of leg portions from an inner side thereof.

Cartridge

The cutting portion includes a pair of introduction portions allowing the staple legs penetrating the sheets of paper to be introduced therein, a pair of cutting members configured to cut the staple legs introduced in the introduction portions, and a discharging path configured to discharge cut staples cut by the cutting members. The discharging path includes a temporary receiving portion for the cut staples provided between the pair of introduction portions. The temporary receiving portion includes a pair of inlet portions respectively provided on side surfaces thereof opposing the introduction portions. The pair of inlet portions are configured to allow the cut staples cut by the cutting members to enter therein.

Stapler

There is provided a staple cartridge, on which a refill is configured to be mounted, the refill including a refill main body configured to accommodate therein a plurality of staple sheets in a stacked state and having a discharging port for discharging the staple sheets, and a staple presser configured to be placed on the stacked staple sheets so as to move in a stacking direction of the staple sheets as the staple sheets are discharged through the discharging port and an amount of the staple sheets is reduced. The staple cartridge includes a mount portion, on which the refill is configured be removably mounted, and a displacement member provided on the mount portion and configured to abut against the staple presser to be displaced in accordance with a position of the staple presser in a state where the refill is mounted on the mount portion.

Staple cartridge and stapler

A stapler includes a staple striking portion configured to strike a staple to penetrate sheets of paper and a clincher portion configured to bend staple legs of the staple penetrating the sheets of paper. The clincher portion includes a pair of clinchers. The pair of clinchers are configured to perform a first operation and a second operation. In the first operation, the pair of the clinchers move along a surface direction of the sheets of paper to approach each other. In the second operation, the pair of clinchers move to approach the sheets of paper after the first operation.

A stapler includes a staple cartridge in which a staple is stored, a storage unit to which the staple cartridge is detachably attached, a staple ejecting unit which ejects the staple to penetrate a paper sheet, a cutting unit which cuts a staple leg of the staple penetrating the paper sheet, a binding unit which bends the staple leg of the staple penetrating the paper sheet to bind the paper sheet, a cut staple storage unit which stores a cut staple that is cut by the cutting unit, a cut staple quantity detection unit which detects a quantity of the cut staple stored in the cut staple storage unit, and a discharge unit through which the cutting unit and the cut staple storage unit communicate with each other to guide the cut staple to the cut staple storage unit. The cut staple storage unit is attachable to and detachable from the stapler.

Stapler, post-processing apparatus and image forming system

The staple receiving portion includes a clamping portion exposed to the paper clamping portion and configured to clamp the sheets of paper, and a staple guide portion provided on an end portion of the clamping portion at a side thereof, on which the staple striking portion is located, and configured to guide the staple struck by the staple striking portion. The clamping portion is made configured of a resin material. The staple guide portion includes a staple leg support member provided on a side of the clamping portion opposite to a side thereof, on which the sheets of paper are clamped, and configured to support the staple legs of the staple struck by the staple striking portion, and a guide member provided to oppose the staple leg support member, the staple leg support member and the guide member are made configured of a metal material.

A stapler includes a staple cartridge in which a staple is stored, a storage unit to which the staple cartridge is attached to be detachable, a staple ejecting unit which ejects out the staple to penetrate a paper sheet, a cutting unit which cuts a staple leg of the staple penetrating the paper sheet, a binding unit which binds the paper sheet by bending the staple leg of the staple penetrating the paper sheet, a cut staple storage unit which stores a cut staple that is cut by the cutting unit, and a discharge unit through which the cutting unit and the cut staple storage unit communicate with each other to guide the cut staple to the cut staple storage unit. The cut staple storage unit is attachable to and detachable from the stapler.

Container for staple fragment

A refill case (A) is provided with: an accommodating part () in which staple-sheets, each of which is formed by connecting straight staple members in a sheet shape, are stacked in an up/down direction and accommodated; a front wall (); a leading-out port () formed in the front wall (), and from which a lowermost staple-sheet of the stacked staple-sheets in the accommodating part is led out forward; and an eaves part () formed in an upper side of the leading-out port (). The eaves part () includes a front end (F) positioned in a front side of the front wall () and a lower surface (L) formed between the front end (F) and the front wall ().

Refill case and staple cartridge

A refill case is provided with: an accommodating part () for accommodating staple-sheets (); a staple pressing member () for pressing a top of the staple-sheets (); locking saw-toothed portions () having saw-toothed shapes; and return-preventing claws () formed ends of the staple pressing member () and engaged with the locking saw-toothed portions. A phase of the saw-toothed shape of the right locking saw-toothed portion is shifted from a phase of the saw-toothed shape of the left locking saw-toothed portion.
