An actuator is equipped with a body and a slider. Body side rail grooves are formed in side wall portions that constitute the body. On the other hand, slider side rail grooves are formed in the slider. Body side guide rails and slider side guide rails are provided in the body side rail grooves and the slider side rail grooves, respectively. Circular arc grooves serving as ball grooves are formed by body side ball receiving portions of the body side guide rails, and slider side ball receiving portions of the slider side guide rails.

Actuator

In a linear actuator, a slide table is attached to a cylinder body via a guide mechanism so as to be movable along the longitudinal direction of the cylinder body. The slide table includes a table body arranged above the cylinder body and extending in the longitudinal direction, and an end plate joined to an end of the table body in the longitudinal direction so as to be substantially orthogonal to the table body. The end plate includes a storage chamber provided on one surface thereof in the longitudinal direction facing a guide mechanism and depressed from the one surface in a direction away from the guide mechanism. For example, when the linear actuator is used in an environment where powder dust and the like is scattered, the storage chamber stores therein a solidified matter made up of the powder dust and the like.

A cylinder guide mechanism includes a floating bush, a holding part that holds the floating bush, and a linear guide. When a working fluid is supplied in a tube and a piston rod moves back and forth, the floating bush and a guide member of the linear guide move back and forth in the same direction. At this time, a slider of the linear guide is displaced relative to the guide member by retaining the same position. The slider is connected to the tube via an L-bracket.

Cylinder guide mechanism and cylinder with guide mechanism

A linear actuator. A guide block for constituting a guide mechanism includes a pair of ball circulation grooves formed in the lower surface of the guide block, the lower surface facing a cylinder body, and balls are mounted in the ball circulation groove. A pair of cover blocks are respectively mounted to the opposite end surfaces of the guide block, and the base section of a cover plate of a plate material is mounted to the lower part of the guide block to thereby retain the balls within the ball circulation groove. Hook sections provided to ends of the base section are engaged with the cover blocks to thereby integrally connect the cover blocks and the guide block.

A guide mechanism includes: a guide member having a first groove; a slide member having a second groove; and rolling bodies arranged in a guide groove comprising the first groove and the second groove. A stopper for preventing the rolling bodies from moving out of the guide groove is affixed to the second groove by welding. A method for manufacturing the guide mechanism includes a welding step in which the second groove and the stopper are welded by resistance welding while the stopper is pressed against the second groove.

Guide mechanism and method for manufacturing same

An open end of a cylinder main body is blocked by a cap, which includes a main body portion, and an outer edge portion that bends from the main body portion toward the open end of the cylinder main body, a distal end of the outer edge portion being locked with an inner circumferential wall. When a piston comes into abutment against the main body portion, a space is formed by the outer edge portion, the inner circumferential wall, and the end surface of the piston. A first port is disposed so as to communicate with the space, whereby the space serves as a space into which the pressure fluid is introduced.

Fluid pressure cylinder

A piston is provided displaceably in the interior of a cylinder tube that constitutes a fluid pressure cylinder, and a piston cover made from an elastic material is disposed so as to cover one end surface of the piston. The piston cover comprises a main body portion confronting a head cover of the cylinder tube, a guide portion covering an outer circumferential surface of the piston and disposed in sliding contact with an inner circumferential surface of a cylinder hole, and a hook portion folded toward an inner circumferential side with respect to the guide portion. Upon displacement of the piston toward the head cover, shocks are absorbed by abutment of the main body portion against the head cover. When the piston is displaced along the cylinder tube, the guide portion serves to guide the piston in the axial direction by sliding contact with the cylinder hole.

A coupling structure for a piston used in a fluid-pressure cylinder. The piston in the fluid-pressure cylinder includes a piston hole that runs through a central part of the piston in an axial direction thereof. One end of a piston rod and a coupling body coupled to the one end are inserted into the piston hole. The coupling body includes: a main part that contacts the one end of the piston rod; and an angled part formed around the main part and inclined at a prescribed angle with respect thereto. When the coupling body is subjected to pressure inside the piston hole, the diameter of the coupling body increases and a pointed edge of the angled part engages with an inner surface of the piston hole such that the coupling body couples the piston and the piston rod.

Coupling structure for piston used in fluid-pressure cylinder, and coupling method therefor

A linear actuator includes a cylinder main body, which is provided at one end thereof with a lock mechanism capable of restricting displacement of a slide table. The lock mechanism is equipped with a lock plate and a sub-piston. The lock plate is rotatable toward a side of the slide table by an elastic force of a spring, inserted into an insertion groove, and restricts displacement of the slide table. The sub-piston is displaced by a pressure fluid supplied to a supply port, and releases a displacement restricted state of the slide table by the lock plate.

A linear actuator includes a guide mechanism and a retainer. On a guide block of the guide mechanism, a pair of ball-circulating grooves is formed on the lower surface that faces a cylinder body. Multiple balls are loaded in the ball-circulating grooves. Paired cover blocks are respectively mounted on the two ends of the guide block. The retainer has the form of paired ball clips, which are formed as arms to engage with the cover blocks when the clips are inserted in the ball-circulating grooves to hold the balls. Paired cover plates are respectively mounted on the end faces of the cover blocks, and arm-shaped cover clips are mounted so as to hold the cover plates. The cover plates, the cover blocks, and the guide block are thereby integrally linked.

A linear actuator displaces a relative position between a guide rail and a slide table, which is arranged in confronting relation to the guide rail. Projections are formed on opposite end sides of the guide rail, the projections extending along a direction of displacement and projecting toward the slide table. The slide table is disposed between the projections on the opposite end sides of the guide rail, with rigid balls being interposed therebetween. Guide grooves and guide grooves, which rollably support the balls, are provided on the projections on the opposite end sides of the guide rail and on the slide table. The guide grooves and the guide grooves apply, on the balls, a pressure caused by a magnetic attractive force of permanent magnets.

A pair of penetrating holes are formed along a longitudinal direction in the interior of a cylinder body that constitutes a fluid pressure cylinder. One end of the pair of penetrating holes is sealed by a pair of caps formed in plate-like shapes. The caps, for example, are formed by press molding a plate body made up from a metal material such as aluminum or the like. Outer edge portions of the caps include bent portions, which are inclined at a predetermined angle in a radial outward direction. In addition, the caps are installed by means of the bent portions biting into inner circumferential surfaces of the penetrating holes.

Cap for use in fluid pressure device and fixing method therefor

A linear actuator includes a cylinder main body. With respect to the cylinder main body, a slide table is disposed for reciprocal displacement through a guide mechanism, which is disposed on the cylinder main body. A stopper mechanism having a stopper bolt is disposed on one end of the slide table centrally in a widthwise direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the slide table. In addition, when the slide table is displaced along the cylinder main body, an end of the stopper bolt comes into abutment with an end of a cover of the guide mechanism, whereupon the slide table becomes engaged therewith and movement of the slide table is stopped.
