A multi-layer ceramic electronic device includes an element body and terminal electrodes. The terminal electrodes include end electrode parts covering ends of the element body in which internal electrode layers are led and upper electrode parts continuing to the end electrode parts and each partially covering an upper surface of the element body in a lamination direction. The terminal electrodes are not substantially formed on a lower surface of the element body located opposite to the upper surface of the element body in the lamination direction.

Multi-layer ceramic electronic device

A multi-layer ceramic electronic device includes an element body and terminal electrodes. The terminal electrodes include end electrode parts covering ends of the element body in which internal electrode layers are led and upper electrode parts continuing to the end electrode parts and each partially covering an upper surface of the element body in a lamination direction. An upper-surface cover layer covering the upper surface of the element body located between the upper electrode parts has an external surface substantially flush with external surfaces of the upper electrode parts. The terminal electrodes are not substantially formed on a lower surface of the element body located opposite to the upper surface of the element body in the lamination direction.

A multilayer ceramic electronic component includes an element body, a via-hole electrode, and a terminal electrode. The element body includes internal electrode layers and insulation layers alternately laminated in a lamination direction. The via-hole electrode penetrates from an upper surface of the element body thereinto and is connected with at least one of the internal electrode layers. The terminal electrode is formed on the upper surface of the element body and connected with the via-hole electrode. The via-hole electrode is embedded in a via hole formed on the element body so that a predetermined clearance space is formed in the via hole.

Multilayer ceramic electronic component and method of manufacturing the same

A multilayer ceramic electronic component includes an element body and a terminal electrode. The element body includes internal electrode layers and insulation layers alternately laminated in a lamination direction. The terminal electrode is formed on an outer surface of the element body to be contacted and connected with the internal electrode layers. The terminal electrode includes an end-side electrode part and an upper-side electrode part. The end-side electrode part covers a leading end of the element body where the internal electrode layers are led. The upper-side electrode part is formed on a part of an upper surface of the element body and continues to the end-side electrode part. The terminal electrode is not substantially formed on a lower surface of the element body located on the other side of the upper surface along the lamination direction.

A power supply apparatus according to the present disclosure includes a first circuit, a second circuit isolated from the first circuit, an adjustment unit configured to adjust power supplied to a load, a first controller, a detection unit configured to detect a parameter related to the power supplied to the load, a first communication unit, a second communication unit configured to perform wireless communication with the first communication unit, and a second controller. The first communication unit is operated by power supplied by a signal generated in the first communication unit due to a signal output from the second controller. The first communication unit transmits, to the second communication unit, information about a result of detection by the detection unit. The second controller supplies the first controller with a signal for controlling the adjustment unit. The first controller controls the adjustment unit based on the signal.

A power supply apparatus includes a first circuit, a second circuit, a switcher configured to switch between a power supplied state and a power interrupted state, a driver configured to output a signal for switching the state of the switcher, an adjusting unit, a first control unit, a second control unit, a first communication portion, and a second communication portion. The first control unit is operated by power supplied by a signal generated in the first communication portion. The first control unit transmits, to the second communication portion, information about a detection result. The second control unit controls the adjusting unit based on the information. A transmission line and an electronic component including a resonator using the transmission line are provided. The transmission line is capable of transmitting electromagnetic waves of at least one frequency ranging from 1 GHz to 10 GHz and is composed of a first dielectric with a first relative permittivity and a surrounding dielectric portion composed of a second dielectric with a second relative permittivity, wherein, the first dielectric is represented by a formula of {XBaO.(1&#x2212;X)SrO}TiO(0.25&#x3c;X&#x2266;0.55), and the second relative permittivity is smaller than the first relative permittivity.

A dielectric line includes a line portion and a surrounding dielectric portion. The line portion is formed of a first dielectric having a first relative permittivity. The surrounding dielectric portion is formed of a second dielectric having a second relative permittivity. The line portion propagates one or more electromagnetic waves of one or more frequencies within the range of 1 to 10 GHz. In a cross section orthogonal to the direction of propagation of the one or more electromagnetic waves through the line portion, the surrounding dielectric portion is present around the line portion. A dielectric ceramic composition includes a component represented by composition formula {&#x3b1;(xBaO.yNdO.zTiO)+&#x3b2;(2MgO.SO)} as a main component and zinc oxide, boron oxide, and a glass having a softening point equal to or lower than a certain temperature as minor components with respect to the main component. In the dielectric ceramic composition, x, y, and z that respectively represent molar ratios of BaO, NdO, and TiOare in certain ranges and &#x3b1; and &#x3b2; that represent volume ratios of subcomponents (xBaO.yNdO.zTiOand 2MgO.SiO) in the main component are in certain ranges. When the minor components are respectively represented by aZnO, bBO, and cglass, a, b, and c that represent mass ratios of the respective minor components to the main component are in certain ranges.

Dielectric ceramic composition

Provided is a dielectric ceramic that includes a main component which contains MgSiOand additives which contain a zinc oxide and a glass component, in which, in X-ray diffraction. The peak intensity ratio, I/I, of the X-ray diffraction peak intensity Iof zinc oxide remaining unreacted, for which 2&#x3b8; is between 31.0&#xb0; and 32.0&#xb0; and between 33.0&#xb0; and 34.0&#xb0;, with respect to the peak intensity Iof MgSiOas the main phase, for which 2&#x3b8; is between 36.0&#xb0; and 37.0&#xb0;, is 10% or less. The dielectric ceramic has a relative density of 96% or greater.

Dielectric ceramic, method for producing dielectric ceramic, and electronic component

This invention makes it possible to use an inexpensive memory as the line memory of a decoding circuit. To do this, a command comparator separates compressed data into a first command that requires memory access and a second command requires no memory access. A decoder requests memory read of decompressed data necessary for decompression of the first command, decodes the first command based on the decompressed data, and requests memory write of decompressed data obtained by decoding. A RAM access controller controls read and write of a RAM cache and a line memory and executes memory read and memory write corresponding to a request from the decoder.
