An inductive load control device includes: an electric path configured to connect an external DC power supply and an inductive load drive unit; an opening and closing unit configured to connect or disconnect the electric path; a voltage detection unit configured to detect a voltage difference between ends of the opening and closing unit; and a failure detection unit configured to detect a failure of the opening and closing unit. The opening and closing unit includes: series-connected first and second switching elements; and a diode connected in series with the first switching element and in parallel with the second switching element such that an anode of the diode is disposed in a direction of the DC power supply. The failure detection unit is configured to detect that the second switching element is in a non-conduction failure, based on the voltage difference.

Inductive load control device

A motor control device includes: an inverter circuit including a semiconductor switching element for drive which drives a motor; a cut-off circuit including a semiconductor switching element for cut-off which cuts off an electric connection between the motor and the inverter circuit; a failure detection unit; a rotation number detection unit; and a control unit. In a case where the failure detection unit detects a failure of the semiconductor switching element for drive, the control unit turns off the semiconductor switching element for drive, and in a case where the number of rotations of the motor which is detected by the rotation number detection unit is less than a predetermined first threshold, the control unit further turns off the semiconductor switching element for cut-off.

Motor control device

In order to prevent rattling and avoid generation of chips at the time of assembly in a storage case for a power steering control unit of a vehicle, a storage case includes a base having a plate-shaped substrate member, and a box-shaped cover having an opening on the lower side and being mounted on the base so as to cover the upper surface of the substrate member, wherein rattling preventing projections are provided at a plurality of positions on the peripheral edge of the substrate member so as to come into abutment with an opening-side edge of the cover, which is positioned at a mounting position with respect to the base, from the outside; on the inner side of the rattling-preventing projections bevels are formed, which presses the opening-side edge to resiliently deform the peripheral wall of the cover inward and causes a reaction force to act in a direction in which the cover moves away from the substrate member and comes apart from the base; and the opening-side edge is formed with a crimping projection formed by being bent toward the lower surface of the substrate member so as to retain the cover at the mounting position against the reaction force.

Storage case and method of assembling the same

A gear mechanism and webbing retractor having a compact size in which a pinion is prevented from being damaged when a large initial driving force is applied from a gear. When a sensor detects an emergent deceleration of a vehicle, a piston driving device is actuated so as to move a rack at its standby position in a direction to a pinion. When the rack is located at the standby position, a tooth face on a side near a front end, of a front end tooth thereof is in contact with a pressure receiving surface of the initially driving member. The rack is moved along a pitch line in the direction to the pinion so that the front end tooth presses the pressure receiving surface. As a result, the initially driving member converts the initial driving force from the rack to a rotation force thereby rotating the pinion in the taking-up direction.

Gear mechanism and webbing retractor

A webbing driving guide, used in a seatbelt system wherein one end of an occupant restraining webbing is secured to a door of a vehicle, has a roller for moving the intermediate portion of the webbing forward in the vehicle along the door while the door is opened. The roller is connected to driving means provided in the door by way of an arm and a bracket. The bracket is supported by the driving device in such a manner that the bracket is disposed at a position being a distance of 1/5 to 2/5 the effective webbing supporting length apart from one end of the roller and the bracket is secured to the driving means through a mounting bolt being twisted at a predetermined angle with the axis of the roller. Hence, the outer webbing does not move greatly in the widthwise direction thereof when the outer webbing moves in the longitudinal direction thereof in a condition of being wound on the roller.

Webbing driving guide

A seatbelt system wherein the intermediate portions of an outer webbing for restraining an occupant are turned back at slip anchors provided at the upper and lower portions of a vehicle door, whereby, in the normal running condition of the vehicle, relative movement between the webbing and the slip anchors allows the occupant to have high freedom in moving, and, in an emergency of the vehicle, when the occupant is moved by an inertial force in the direction of a collision, relative movement between the webbing and the slip anchors is prevented to restrain the occupant, thus preventing the upper body of the occupant from being thrown out in the direction of the collision.
