A lubricant composition containing a base oil, an alkyl benzene sulfonate metal salt, and an alkyl naphthalene sulfonate metal salt, wherein a total content of the alkyl benzene sulfonate metal salt and the alkyl naphthalene sulfonate metal salt is 1 to 2.2% by mass, and a mass fraction of the alkyl benzene sulfonate metal salt to a total mass of the alkyl benzene sulfonate metal salt and the alkyl naphthalene sulfonate metal salt is 0.3 or more.

Lubricant composition

A lubricant composition includes a base oil and melamine cyanurate. The base oil includes a perfluoropolyether oil having a straight chain structure. The lubricant composition is for one of a resin-resin sliding section and a resin-metal sliding section. A melamine cyanurate content is within a range of 1-20% by mass with respect to a sum of the base oil and melamine cyanurate.

A slide electricity structure according to the present invention uses grease for electrical contacts wherein contact resistance does not gradually increase even when exposed to sliding and lifetime is long, and has a silver-plated spring contact that contacts or separates by way of sliding and grease for electrical contacts that has been applied to the spring contact and contains perfluoropolyether oil having an average molecular weight between 2600 and 12500 as a base oil and PTFE having a primary particle diameter of 1 &#x3bc;m or less as a thickener.

A process for producing a grease composition which is capable of homogeneously and surely dispersing a non-fluorine-based base oil blended with a thickening agent and a fluorine-based base oil blended with a thickening agent. A mixture of a non-fluorine-based base oil blended with a first thickening agent and a fluorine-based base oil blended with a second thickening agent that are not mutually compatible is homogeneously treated at a shear rate of 150 sor higher to form a morphology structure in which one of the non-fluorine-based base oil and fluorine-based base oil is homogeneously dispersed in a particulate form having a mean particle diameter of not more than 25 &#x3bc;m in the other base oil.

Grease composition and process for producing the same

A lubricant composition which is suitable as a fluorine oil, fluorine grease, and which is excellent in stabilizability, as well as a lubricant composition which is suitable as a fluorine oil, fluorine grease, and which has excellent rust prevention properties while keeping a heat resistance.

Disclosed is an electroconductive grease comprising a fluorine oil, an electroconductive material, and a thickening agent, the electroconductive grease containing 5 to 20 wt. % of carbon black having a DBP oil absorption amount of 250 ml/100 g or less as the electroconductive material, and 2 to 15 wt. % of fluorine-containing resin particles having an average primary particle size of 1.0 &#x3bc;m or less as the thickening agent. The electroconductive grease comprises carbon black having specific properties, and fluorine-containing resin particles, preferably PTFE particles, having an average primary particle size of 1.0 &#x3bc;m or less, and therefore exhibits excellent oil separation characteristics, namely, a remarkably lower degree of oil separation, which can also be reduced to 10 wt. % or less.

Electroconductive grease

A grease composition, which comprises a mixture of mutually incompatible thickener-containing non-fluorine-based base oil and thickener-containing fluorine-based base oil, the base oils being in a morphological structure, where one of the base oils is homogeneously dispersed in a particulate state in the other base oil, can be produced by kneading the mixture through a three-roll mill at least twice. By forming a morphological structure, one of the mutually incompatible non-fluorine-based base oil and fluorine-based base oil is homogeneously dispersed in a particulate state in the other base oil, that is, by forming a microscopically dispersed state, the following effects can be obtained: (1) less oil separation (smaller degree of oil separation) at elevated temperatures, (2) distinguished shearing stability, (3) low and stable friction coefficient, and (4) less abrasion.

A grease composition, which comprises a base oil selected from at least one of synthetic hydrocarbon oil, ester-based synthetic oil, and ether-based synthetic oil; a thickening agent selected from at least one of lithium-based soap, lithium-based complex soap, and a urea-based compound; polytetrafluoroethylene resin powders having a number average molecular weight Mn of 20,000-100,000; and zinc dialkyldithiophosphate having straight or branched alkyl groups of at least 3 carbon atoms, preferably 5-13 carbon atoms, and more preferably 8-12 carbon atoms, has not only a distinguished lubricability, when applied to plastic members, but also a distinguished durability as given by change in friction coefficient and wear loss, after the sliding test.

Grease composition

A lubricating oil composition for use in oil-impregnated sintered bearings together with a resin member having C&#x2550;C bonds or C&#x2550;O groups in the molecules, which comprises a base oil comprising a synthetic hydrocarbon oil as the main component, and 0.1-30% by weight of an ester-based oil on the basis of total composition, and free from zinc dialkyldithiophosphate and molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate, where the synthetic hydrocarbon oil as the main component of the base oil has substantially no adverse effect on resin, can minimize an adverse effect on various metal species of sintered materials by suppressing a mixing amount of a wear inhibitor or an extreme pressure agent to a minimum, without deteriorating a good lubricability required for the lubricating oil in oil-impregnated sintered bearings.

Lubricating oil composition

A lubricant composition for oil-impregnated sintered bearings, which comprises at least one base oil selected from a perfluoropolyether oil represented by the following general formula:RfO(CFCFO)(CFO)Rf(where Rf is a perfluoroalkyl group having 1-5 carbon atoms, m+n=3-200, m:n=10-90:90-10), a perfluoropolyether oil represented by the following general formula:RfO[CF(CF)CFO](CFCFO)(CFO)Rf(where Rf is a perfluoroalkyl group having 1-5 carbon atoms, p+q+r=3-200, q and r each may be 0, and (q+r)/p=0-2), and a polyfluoropolyether oil represented by the following general formula:F(CFCFCFO)CF(where s=2-100), and a fluorine-containing di- or mono-amide-based compound, has further improved lubrication characteristics, particularly wear resistance and friction coefficient characteristics, of perfluoropolyether oil.
