An information processing system according to the embodiments includes an in-vehicle device (electronic device), a portable communication terminal, a terminal position computing unit (computing unit), and a specific process executing unit (executing unit). The in-vehicle device is provided in a vehicle (predetermined facility). The portable communication terminal is capable of mutual communication with the in-vehicle device. The terminal position computing unit computes a position of the portable communication terminal based upon a motion of the portable communication terminal. The specific process executing unit, when the position of the portable communication terminal computed by the terminal position computing unit is a predetermined position that is predefined in the facility, executes a specific process corresponding to the predetermined position.

Information processing system and information processing method causing a portable communications terminal to cooperate with an electronic device

An in-vehicle device is provided. A wireless communication section is configured to perform wireless communication with a plurality of mobile terminal devices in a vehicle. A specifying section is configured to specify each of the mobile terminal devices based on radio waves which are transmitted from the mobile terminal devices carried in the vehicle and are received by an antenna provided in the vehicle. An information acquiring section is configured to acquire service specifying information for specifying available services for each of the mobile terminal devices from each of the mobile terminal devices specified by the specifying section. A share setting section is configured to set whether or not to share at least one of the available services among the mobile terminal devices based on the service specifying information acquired by the information acquiring section.

In-vehicle device and communication control method

In an in-vehicle system, a portable terminal interprets a command intended by operation data operated by an occupant via a touch panel of a DA, and determines whether the interpreted command is a prohibition command, that is, whether execution of the command in an own device is prohibited. When the command is not a prohibition command, the portable terminal is caused to execute the command, and when it is a prohibition command, the DA is caused to execute the command.

In-vehicle system, in-vehicle device, and execution control method of command of the in-vehicle device

A portable communication terminal transmits a request signal that requests voice data representing an email message, to a server apparatus when the portable communication terminal receives the email that has been sent to the portable communication terminal, and the portable communication terminal transmits the voice data received from the server apparatus, to an in-vehicle equipment. A server apparatus converts an email message that has been sent to a portable communication terminal, into voice data in response to a request signal received from the portable communication terminal, and the server apparatus returns the voice data to the portable communication terminal. The in-vehicle equipment detects a position of a portable communication terminal in a cabin, and the in-vehicle equipment outputs a voice message converted only from voice data representing an email message received by the portable communication terminal located in a specific position in the cabin, inside the cabin of the vehicle.

Data communication system

Upon detection of a portable terminal positioned at a predetermined distance allowing wireless communication with an in-vehicle device, the in-vehicle device in an in-vehicle system performs a pairing process with respect to the detected portable terminal to establish wireless communication with the detected portable terminal. Thereafter, the in-vehicle device acquires an image and sound acquired by an application being executed on the portable terminal from the portable terminal, with which wireless communication has been established. The in-vehicle device converts acquired various types of data into an outputtable format of the in-vehicle device and outputs the converted data to at least one of a display unit and a speaker.
