A multilayer electronic component is provided which includes layers composed of different materials and bonded together and which is capable of suppressing the occurrence of delamination at a bonded portion between the layers composed of different materials. A magnetic first layer is composed of a material with relatively high magnetic permeability. A second magnetic layer is composed of a material with relatively low magnetic permeability. Boundary magnetic layers are provided between the two magnetic layers and include a partial magnetic layer composed of the same material as the first magnetic layer and a partial magnetic layer composed of the same material as the second magnetic layer. The partial magnetic layers are provided to be adjacent to each other in the boundary magnetic layers.

Multilayer electronic component

A sintered ceramic has a porosity of greater than about 30 percent and less than about 80 percent by volume. Pores are filled with an epoxy resin. A filling factor of the epoxy resin is about 40 percent by volume or more. A monolithic ceramic electronic component having an inner electrode, for example, a chip inductor is manufactured with such a porous sintered ceramic. When a direct current is superimposed, the resulting monolithic ceramic electronic component has a substantially unchanged self-resonant frequency and also has a rate of decrease in impedance of about 50 percent or less at 100 MHz.

Monolithic ceramic electronic component

A ceramic electronic component includes a ceramic sintered compact containing about 35 to 80 volume percent pores and an electrode provided inside the ceramic sintered compact. The pores are filled with resin or glass. This ceramic electronic component is formed by forming a green compact which includes an electrode therein with a ceramic compound having a ceramic raw material, a binder and a spherical or granular combustible material having adhesiveness to the binder. The green compact is fired to form the ceramic sintered compact including the electrode and containing about 35 to 80 volume percent pores. The pores of the ceramic sintered compact are filled with resin or glass.

Ceramic electronic component and method for making the same

An method of manufacturing an inductor having a large current capacity which includes a magnetic sintered body formed via wet pressing treatment and a coil assembly disposed within the magnetic sintered body. The coil assembly is defined by a substantially cylindrical magnetic core member which is wound by a coil. Both ends of the coil of the coil assembly are respectively and electrically connected to an input electrode and an output electrode which are respectively disposed on two mutually facing end surfaces of the magnetic sintered body.

Methods of manufacturing inductors

In A method of manufacturing a solid inductor having an inner conductor formed by passing through a magnetic, material. A vitreous diffused material is applied to the surface of the magnetic material, and the diffused material is diffused into the magnetic material by heat treatment, to form a diffusion layer exhibiting low permeability. The thickness of this diffusion layer is adjusted, thereby to make it possible to adjust the inductance value of the solid inductor as well as to improve resistance to humidity of the solid inductor.

Method of manufacturing a solid inductor

A composite electronic part includes a dielectric ceramic portion consisting of a Pb group dielectric material. Inside the dielectric ceramic portion, an internal electrode constituting a portion of a capacitor is formed. The dielectric ceramic portion is bonded to a magnetic ceramic portion consisting of a Ni--Zn group ferrite material by an intermediate layer consisting of a ceramic material containing Pb, Ni, Fe and Nb as main components. Inside the magnetic ceramic portion, an internal electrode constituting a portion of an inductor is formed. Furthermore, at end portions of the dielectric ceramic portion, intermediate layer and magnetic ceramic portion, a plurality of external electrodes consisting of, for example, Ag are formed, and connected to the predetermined internal electrodes.

Composite electronic part

In a solid inductor having an inner conductor formed by passing through a magnetic material, a vitreous diffused material is applied to the surface of the magnetic material, and the diffused material is diffused into the magnetic material by heat treatment, to form a diffusion layer exhibiting low permeability. The thickness of this diffusion layer is adjusted, thereby to make it possible to adjust the inductance value of the solid inductor as well as to improve resistance to humidity of the solid inductor.

Solid inductor with vitreous diffused outer layer

A conductor pattern for forming coils and lead-out electrodes which are led out from the coils are formed on a magnetic substance sheet. Furthermore, said magnetic substance sheet is provided with through-holes for connecting the conductor patterns. The magnetic substance sheets disposed respectively just over and just under the conductor pattern that becomes the lead-out electrodes are coated with non-magnetic material paste. A laminated chip common mode choke coil is produced by laminating these magnetic substance sheets and baking them integrally and thereafter forming external electrodes. The non-magnetic material diffuses into the magnetic substance sheet by baking the lamination of the magnetic substance sheets, and the permeability of that portion becomes low. Therefore, the magnetic reluctance around the lead-out electrode becomes high, thus reducing leakage flux around that portion. Thereby, coupling between two coils formed in the choke coil becomes good.

Laminated chip common mode choke coil

A laminated transformer includes a plurality of ferrite sheets having surfaces on which conductor patterns are formed and are laminated and baked to be a sintered body, and a pair of the primary external electrodes and a pair of the secondary external electrodes are provided at end faces of the sintered body. The transformer is used mainly in a high frequency circuit, the conductor patterns formed at the laminated ferrite sheets being used as the primary or the secondary, both ends of the primary conductor patterns being electrically connected to the pair of the primary external electrodes and both ends of the secondary conductor patterns being electrically connected to the pair of the secondary external electrodes, so that the primary and secondary conductor patterns have no coiled construction and no self-distributed capacity, so that the laminated transformer will no induce self-resonance even when used in a high frequency band.

Laminated transformer

A multi-layer chip coil which comprises a stack of intermediate laminas of magnetizeable material having a through-hole defined therein so as to extend completely through the thickness thereof, first and second patterned electric conductors formed on the opposite surfaces of each of the intermediate laminas, respectively, and an electroconductive element extending through the through-hole so as to connect the first and second conductors together. The intermediate laminas are stacked one above the other with the first and second conductors in one intermediate lamina partially overlapping in contact with the second conductor in the neighboring intermediate lamina immediately thereabove and the first conductor in the neighboring intermediate lamina immediately therebelow, respectively, whereby the first and second conductors in all of the intermediate laminas, which are connected in series with each other through the respective conductive element, are connected in series with each other.
