A sunshade panel apparatus includes, a plurality of sunshade panels including slide members, a guide rail having a guide groove extending to slide and guide the sunshade panels, a panel compartment, an engaging member including an engaged portion and an engaging portion, a connecting component having the engaging member and connecting the sunshade panels, wherein the engaged portion and the engaging portion are in the guide groove and are engaged with each other in a condition where the engaging portion is sandwiched between an inner surface of the guide groove and the engaged portion when the sunshade panels are in the closed state.

A sunroof device including a movable panel (), a functional bracket () for supporting the movable panel (), a guide rail (), a shoe () for moving along the guide rail (), a check member () engageable with the shoe (), a raising and lowering member () for pivotally supporting the check member (), and an urging member () for urging the check member (). The check member () and the shoe () are set in one of an engaged state, in which they are moved integrally, and a disengaged state, in which they are separated. The raising and lowering member moves the functional bracket upward or downward in cooperation with movement of the check member () in the engaged state. The urging member () turns over the check member () with an urging force to set the check member in the disengaged state.

A sunroof apparatus comprises a movable panel provided on an opening portion of a vehicle roof and capable of tilting-up and sliding, a functional bracket that supports the movable panel, a drive member actuated to move in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle along a guide rail attached to the vehicle roof, a front shoe connected to the drive member for controlling the movements of a front portion of the functional bracket by means of a front functional member, as a consequence of moving in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle along the guide rail in accordance with the movements of the drive member and a rear shoe connected to the drive member for controlling movement of a rear portion of the functional bracket by means of a rear functional member, as a consequence of moving in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle along the guide rail in accordance with the movements of the drive member, wherein the front shoe and the rear shoe are supported by an identical guide portion of the guide rail.
