A slit blade block is provided with a slit outer blade, a comb component, and an outer blade connector to which the slit outer blade is fixed. The comb component is sandwiched between and held by the slit outer blade and the outer blade connector when the slit outer blade is fixed to the slit connector.

Slit blade block and electric razor

Electric shaver includes body, head having blade block, and head supporting part connecting body with head. Head supporting part includes swing supporting part supporting head swingably about two swing axes, and head float part so that head is movable up and down with respect to body. This configuration allows head to swing about the two axes, and thus head easily follows undulations of skin. Head is movable up and down with respect to body, and thus head sinks with respect to body when head is strongly pressed against the skin. The aspect provides electric shaver that has a high follow-up performance of head swinging according to undulations of skin and hardly irritates the skin strongly.

The comb projections of the stationary blade include a skin-contact surface which abuts against skin, and a slide surface with which the comb projections of the movable blade come into slide contact. Further, the main body of the stationary blade includes an opposed surface which is opposed to a plane including the skin-contact surface, and a shortest distance between the opposed surface and the plane including the skin-contact surface is equal to or greater than a distance between the plane including the skin-contact surface and the comb projection of the movable blade.

Hair-clipper

A hair remover including a cylindrical outer blade and an inner blade rotatably accommodated in the outer blade. The outer blade includes a side wall, a bend, and an upper wall that are continuous with each other. A first cutting edge is arranged on the upper wall and the side wall. The inner blade includes a second cutting edge arranged so as to clip hair in cooperation with the first cutting edge of the outer blade. The hair remover further includes a relief arranged on at least either one of the inner blade and the outer blade to prevent contact between the inner blade and the bend of the outer blade.

Hair remover

A hair remover including an outer blade and an inner blade accommodated in the outer blade. The outer blade includes a cylindrical side wall, an upper wall, and a bend connecting the side wall and the upper wall. Straight upper cutting edges and side cutting edges are formed by slits extending from the upper wall to an upper part of the side wall. A hair clipper has a blade block, which includes a fixed blade, a movable blade overlapped with the fixed blade to make sliding contact with the fixed blade, a pressing spring applying a pressing load to maintain a uniform contact pressure between the fixed blade and the movable blade, and a blade base for receiving and retaining the fixed blade and the movable blade and the pressing spring. The blade base has a blade holder retaining the fixed blade and the movable blade and a blade cover attached to the blade holder to cover the fixed blade and the movable blade. Further, the blade holder has a primary retainer member holding end portions of the pressing spring and the blade cover has a secondary retainer member pressing the end portions of the pressing spring in a direction in which the pressing spring is retained by the primary retainer member.
