A fuel tank plumbing structure includes a first pipe; a second pipe coaxially connected to the first pipe; a flexible locking piece having a protruding end displaced in a radial direction of one of the first pipe or the second pipe; a locking portion formed in another of the first pipe or the second pipe to engage the locking piece; and a lock member annularly formed and fitted externally onto the one of the first pipe or the second pipe, and including an escape groove portion and a control wall portion arranged adjacent to the escape groove. The lock member is displaced in an axis line direction of the one of the first pipe or the second pipe between a first position wherein the locking piece is displaced toward the escape groove portion, and a second position wherein the locking piece abuts against the control wall portion.

Fuel tank pipe structure

A connector to connect a fluid path to a fuel tank includes a main portion made of a synthetic resin through which a gas produced from fuel hardly passes, and a shell formed outside the main portion and made of a synthetic resin through which the gas passes easier than the main portion and which can be melt-bonded to the outer surface of a fuel tank. The main portion includes a flange part in the outer periphery. The shell has a wall section for a melt-bonding portion which extends around from the top surface side of the flange part and covers the bottom side of the flange part. The undersurface of the flange part is provided with an inclination having the peripheral edge side of the flange part upside thereof.

Connector for fuel tank

A connector includes an outer melt-bonding projectionintegrally formed with a projecting endof a flangeof a base member, and an inner melt-bonding memberhaving an upper sideunified to a lower surfaceof the flangeof the base memberand configured to have an outer lateral sideunified to an inner lateral sideof the outer melt-bonding projection. The outer melt-bonding projectionis formed of a first synthetic resin, which is melt-bondable to an outer layer Ta of a fuel tank T, the base memberis formed of a second synthetic resin difficult to pass a gas produced from fuel therethrough and adaptable to the first synthetic resin, and the inner melt-bonding memberis formed of the first synthetic resin.

A fuel supply pipe device for a fuel tank of a vehicle includes a fuel supply pipe connected to the fuel tank, and a filler pipe connected to the fuel supply pipe. A hose intrusion preventing member is situated inside the fuel supply pipe. The hose intrusion preventing member includes plural obstructing plates extending parallel to each other following an axial line of the fuel supply pipe, and an annular member attached to the obstructing plates. A metal pipe member is disposed inside the fuel supply pipe adjacent to the hose intrusion preventing member to locate the hose intrusion preventing member inside the fuel supply pipe.

Fuel supply pipe device of fuel tank

A pressure control valve for a fuel tank includes a valve chamber having the first communicating portion communicating with a canister and the second communicating portion communicating with the fuel tank; the first hollow valve member housed in the valve chamber to be vertically movable; and the second valve member housed in the first valve member to be vertically movable. A valve portion for closing the second communicating portion from the inside of the valve chamber and the first communicating hole passing through the valve portion are provided at a bottom of the first valve member. The second communicating hole is provided at an upper portion of the first valve member for communicating between the inside of the first valve member and the valve chamber.

Pressure control valve for fuel tank

A pressure control valve includes a valve chamber having the first communicating portion connected to a canister and the second communicating portion connected to a fuel tank, the first valve member disposed inside the valve chamber, and the second valve member disposed inside the first valve member. The first valve member includes a valve portion for blocking the second communicating portion, the first communicating hole passing through the valve portion, and the second communicating hole communicating between the first valve member and the valve chamber. The second valve member blocks the second communicating hole. When the fuel tank reaches a certain high pressure state, the first valve member rises to open the second communicating portion. When the fuel tank reaches a certain low pressure state, the second valve member rises to open the second communicating hole.

A back flow preventing valve is formed of a valve main body and a valve member. The valve main body includes a fluid inlet at one side, a fluid outlet at the other side having a valve seat at an end surface thereof, a flange extending outwardly from an outer periphery thereof and located between the fluid inlet and outlet, and a bent portion situated inside the valve main body near the fluid outlet for changing a flowing direction of a fluid flowing through the valve main body. The area of the fluid outlet is greater than that of the fluid inlet. The valve member is pivotally connected to the valve main body and urged toward the valve seat. The valve member is opened when a fluid entering from the fluid inlet is ejected from the fluid outlet, and closed when the fluid does not flow from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet. When the valve is installed in a tank, the valve main body is entered from a side of the fluid outlet into a hole of a valve attaching portion of a tank and the flange is fixed to the valve attaching portion.

Backward flow prevention valve

A liquid flow-out prevention valve is basically formed of a cut-off valve and a relief valve attached to the cut-off valve. The cut-off valve includes a housing having an outlet in an upper wall, and a valve body disposed inside the housing to open and close the outlet. A flow path communicating with the outlet extends from above the upper wall to a side wall of the cut-off valve. The relief valve includes a valve portion formed in the flow path at a side of the side wall, and an inlet communicating with the flow path and opened and closed by the valve portion. The inlet is disposed above a liquid level of the cut-off valve in a fuel tank and is arranged to open upwardly. The liquid flow-out prevention valve can be made compact and operate reliably.

Liquid flow-out prevention valve

A valve for detecting a liquid surface used in a fuel tank is formed of a valve body having an orifice at an upper part thereof, a plurality of bottom through-holes formed at a bottom part thereof, and a plurality of surrounding wall through-holes formed at a surrounding part thereof; a valve member movably disposed inside the valve body to close the orifice; and an urging member for moving the valve member in cooperation with buoyancy of the valve member so as to close the orifice. In the valve of the invention, the diameter of the orifice is set to be larger than the diameter of the bottom through-holes, and also larger than a diameter of the surrounding wall through-holes. Therefore, the orifice can be prevented from being clogged by foreign substances.

Valve for detecting liquid surface

A float valve device for a fuel tank of an automotive vehicle. The float valve device comprises a valve body installed to an upper wall of the fuel tank. The valve body is formed thereinside with a communication passage for establishing communication between inside and outside of the fuel tank. A valve mouth member is fixedly disposed inside the communication passage and includes a lower end section having a peripheral portion defining thereinside a valve opening which forms part of the communication passage. A float is disposed inside the valve body and movable relative to the valve opening in accordance with a level of the liquid in the fuel tank. A rubber member is securely disposed at an upper section of the float. The rubber member has a sealing face which is substantially flat and contactable with the peripheral portion of the valve mouth member to close the valve opening upon ascending of the float.
