Providing a stent which can easily be indwelled in a blood vessel in a state such that a catheter can be projected toward an inside of aneurysm. The stent is a stent for use in medical treatment of an aneurysm () and includes a cylindrical stent body () provided on a peripheral wall and having a plurality of insertion portions () through each of which a catheter () is insertable and a plurality of valving elements () provided in the insertion portions () respectively. Each valving element () is opened when the catheter () is inserted through one of the insertion portions (). Each valving element () is closed when the catheter () is pulled out of the insertion portion (). This suppresses an outflow into a blood vessel of a coil () placed in the aneurysm ().

Stent

A mowing vehicle provided with a traveling machine and a mowing device includes a first image-capturing device and a controlling unit configured to control the traveling machine to travel autonomously along a boundary line of grass before and after mowing formed by the mowing device. The controlling unit includes a boundary-detecting unit configured to detect the boundary line and a traveling-controlling unit configured to control traveling directions of the traveling machine. The boundary-detecting unit is configured to generate intensity distribution information regarding texture information in a predetermined direction by filtering with a Gabor filter on a captured image. The boundary-detecting unit is configured to carry out statistical processing on the intensity distribution information per inspection area divided in plural in a vertical direction so as to detect boundary points and to detect the boundary line from the boundary points per the inspection area.

The present invention is a method of recovering a desired micromaterial in a system comprising a medium that undergoes a reversible phase transition between a sol and a gel, a support material and micromaterials, comprising the steps of converting the medium surrounding the micromaterial to be recovered into a gel locally to immobilize said micromaterial on said support along with the gelled medium, removing the medium and micromaterials not immobilized on said support material and converting the gelled medium to a sol to recover the micromaterial.

Method or apparatus for recovering micromaterial

In a robot with two or more leg links having ankle joint respectively and pivotably linked to a torso, the robot walks naturally by making the ankle joint of a grounded leg link rotate freely by using passive movement. A controller executes controlling operation of calculating target joint angles of remaining joints other than the ankle joint of the grounded leg link based upon the measured joint angles of the ankle joint of the grounded leg link in the lateral and forward direction. Walking robot by using passive changes in joint angles and control method thereof

An oscillatory gyroscope having an improved detecting sensitivity. The oscillatory gyroscope includes an elastic metal body in the form of a rectangular column having first to fourth surfaces. The elastic metal body includes a distal portion having a distal through hole extending from the second surface to the fourth surface and a proximal portion having a second through hole extending from the first surface to the third surface. Two first ferroelectric substance films are provided on the first and third surfaces in the distal portion. Two second ferroelectric substance films are provided over the second and fourth surfaces in the proximal portion. First and second electrodes are provided on each of the first ferroelectric substance films, and third and fourth electrodes are provided on the respective second ferroelectric substance films. Voltages of reverse polarities are applied to the first and second electrodes. The positions of the first and second electrodes on the first surface are reversed with respect to those of the third surface.

Parallel plate type oscillatory gyroscope

A highly sensitive oscillatory gyroscope that includes an elastic metal body in the form of a rectangular column having first to fourth sides. The elastic metal body includes a pair of end segments located at its ends and a pair of middle segments located at an upper middle portion and a lower middle portion of the elastic metal body. Each end segment has an opening extending from the second side to the fourth side, and each middle segment has an opening extending from the first side to the third side. A first ferroelectric substance film is provided on each of the first and third sides at the end segments.
