Provided are: a clarifying agent composition in a powder form which has excellent fluidity; and a polyolefin-based resin composition capable of yielding a molded article having excellent clarity. The clarifying agent composition is obtained by heating a mixture in a range of 80 to 180&#xb0; C., the mixture comprising: not less than 85% by mass of a benzylidene sorbitol compound represented by the following Formula (1):

An automobile interior or exterior trim material which is formed of a thermoplastic elastomer composition containing 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic elastomer and 0.001-10 parts by weight of an alkyl benzoate compound of the following formula (I):wherein each of Rand Ris a hydrogen atom, a C1-C8 alkyl or cycloalky; grout, or a C6-C12 aryl, alkylaryl, or arylalkyl group; and Ris a C1-C30 alkyl group. The interior or exterior trim material of the invention has improved weather resistance and resistance to weather-induced coloring.

The present invention provides a multi-component granular additive for polyolefins which has a strength and a function which enable the additive to be dust-free and be of components-in-granule type. It comprises 10 parts by mass of a nucleating agent comprising an alkali metal salt or hydroxyaluminum salt of an aromatic monocarboxlylic acid or comprising an alkali metal salt or hydroxyaluminum salt of an acid aromatic phosphoric ester compound, 1 to 50 parts by mass of a phenolic antioxidant, 5 to 50 parts by mass of polyproylene, and 0 to 500 parts by mass of one or more optional additive components other than the nucleating agent and the phenolic antioxidant.

A polymer composition comprises a polymer blend comprising a polyester and a polycarbonate or another polymer blend comprising alpha-methylstyrene-modified ABS resin and at least one polymer selected from a polycarbonate, a saturated polyester, polyphenylene ether, a polyamide and a polyacetal and an organic phosphite compound having the formula (I): ##STR1## in which R is an alkyl having 1 to 9 carbon atoms.

A polyolefin composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a polyolefine which has been produced with use of a Ziegler catalyst and has a part or residue of the catalyst left therein, 0.005 to 1 part by weight of a phenol compound having the formula (I) and 0.005 to 1 part by weight of an organic phosphite compound having the formula (II). ##STR1## in which R is a residue group of an alcohol being monohydric, dihydric, trihydric or terahydric, R1 is methyl or tert.-butyl, R2 is an alkyl, --CH2CH2COOR3 or --COOR3, R3 being an alkyl, an aryl or an alkylaryl, and n is a number of 1 to 4.
