According to an aspect, a display device includes: a display that includes a plurality of pixels arranged in a predetermined direction and is configured to output an image; an acquirer configured to periodically acquire information related to a sight line of a user visually recognizing the image; a storage configured to store image group data provided from an external information processing device based on the information at a first time point; and a display controller configured to select display data corresponding to the sight line from among the image group data based on the information at a second time point later than the first time point and cause the display to display the display data.

According to an aspect, a detection device includes: drive electrodes; detection electrodes; and dummy electrodes in a floating state. The drive electrodes include a first electrode extending in a first direction, and a second electrode disposed at a predetermined interval from the first electrode in a second direction intersecting the first direction. The detection electrodes include a third electrode extending in the second direction. The dummy electrodes include a fourth electrode disposed at a predetermined interval from the third electrode in the first direction. A detection device is provided and includes substrate; drive electrode provided on substrate; detection electrode provided on substrate and capacitively coupling with drive electrode; first thin film transistor connected to drive electrode and second thin film transistor connected to first thin film transistor, first insulating film and second insulating film both stacked on substrate, wherein first thin film transistor comprises first gate electrode and first semiconductor layer, second thin film transistor comprises second gate electrode and second semiconductor layer, first semiconductor layer and second semiconductor layer are in same layer and are located between first insulating film and second insulating film, first gate electrode opposes first semiconductor layer via first insulating film, second gate electrode opposes second semiconductor layer via second insulating film, and distance from first gate electrode to first semiconductor layer is greater than distance from second gate electrode to second semiconductor layer.

Detection device with thin film transistors

A detecting device includes a plurality of drive electrodes extending in a first direction and arrayed in a second direction, a detection electrode facing the drive electrodes in a direction orthogonal to the first direction and the second direction, a drive circuit configured to supply a drive signal to the drive electrodes, and a detector configured to detect proximity of an object to a detection region provided with the detection electrode based on an output from the detection electrode generated according to capacitance generated between the drive electrodes and the detection electrode due to the drive signal.

A display device comprises a first power supply line supplying a first potential, a second power supply line supplying a second potential, a third power supply line supplying a touch driving signal, and a display unit including a plurality of sub-pixels. The display unit comprises a plurality of first electrodes respectively provided in the plurality of sub-pixels and electrically connected to the first power supply line, a second electrode provided to be common among the plurality of sub-pixels and electrically connected to the second power supply line, a light emitting layer provided between the first electrode and the second electrode, a plurality of third electrodes electrically connected to the third power supply line, and a signal control circuit supplying a signal synchronized with a touch driving signal to the second electrode in a period in which a touch driving signal is supplied to the plurality of third electrodes.

Display device

Included are a first cover base including an alkali glass layer, a first alkali-free glass layer provided on one face of the alkali glass layer, and a second alkali-free glass layer provided on another face of the alkali glass layer and a sensor that is provided on the first alkali-free glass layer of the first cover base and includes a plurality of first electrodes configured to detect the unevenness of a surface of an object to be detected that comes into contact with or close to the first cover base and a switching element. At least the first electrodes are formed above the first alkali-free glass layer and in a transmissive area that passes an image.

Cover member and display apparatus

A display panel including a display function layer displaying an image in a display area, a cover member including a first face and a second face disposed on an opposite side of the first face and faces the display panel, and a fingerprint sensor including a plurality of first detection electrodes disposed in a sensor base and configured to detect unevenness of an object brought into contact with or approaching the first face of the cover member, a shield electrode disposed to face the plurality of first detection electrodes and configured to suppress a change in capacitance between the first detection electrodes and the shield electrode, and switching elements disposed in correspondence with the first detection electrodes, the fingerprint sensor being arranged between the cover member and the display panel and arranged to overlap with the display area when viewed in a direction perpendicular to the first face are included.

A fingerprint detection device includes: a substrate having a first surface and a second surface on an opposite side of the first surface, the first surface serving as a detection surface configured to detect unevenness of an object in contact or in proximity; a detection electrode provided on the second surface side of the substrate and configured to detect unevenness of a finger in contact or in proximity on the basis of an electrostatic capacitance change; and a drive circuit provided on the second surface side of the substrate and configured to supply a drive signal to the detection electrode.

Fingerprint detection device and display device

Detection apparatus

According to an aspect, a detection device includes at least a first touch detection period, in which first touch detection is performed, and a fingerprint detection period, in which fingerprint detection is performed. In the first touch detection period, a plurality of second electrodes in a second detection area in a first detection area are simultaneously selected, a plurality of first electrodes in the first detection area are simultaneously selected, and a first detection signal corresponding to a capacitance change between first electrodes and second electrodes are sequentially output. In the fingerprint detection period, the second electrodes in a plurality of divided areas obtained by dividing a second detection area are sequentially selected, the first electrodes in the divided areas are sequentially selected, and a second detection signal corresponding to a capacitance change between the first electrodes and the second electrodes is output.

Detection device performing touch detection and fingerprint detection

According to an aspect, a detection apparatus includes: a plurality of detection electrodes; a drive signal generation circuit configured to generate a drive signal; a detection circuit configured to be coupled to the detection electrodes to detect a detection signal based on the drive signal; and a first selection circuit. A first point in time when the drive signal makes a transition from a first potential to a second potential overlaps a first period in which the first selection circuit couples a detection electrode as a first selection target among the detection electrodes to the detection circuit. A second point in time when the drive signal makes a transition from the second potential to the first potential overlaps a second period in which the first selection circuit couples a detection electrode as a second selection target, which is not included in the first selection target, to the detection circuit.
