The control board comprising a connector to which the first load is to be connected in a case where the control board is mounted to the first image forming apparatus, and to which the second load is to be connected in a case where the control board is mounted to the second image forming apparatus, a common drive circuit configured to drive the first load and the second load via the connector, and one or more processors.

An image forming apparatus having a power saving mode includes a first power supply configured to operate in the power saving mode, a second power supply configured to operate in a mode other than the power saving mode, a heater configured to generate heat when power is fed from the first power supply or the second power supply, and a control circuit configured to control power feeding from the first power supply to the heater and activation or stopping of the second power supply. The control circuit is configured to control, based on an instruction to shift from the power saving mode to another mode, so that power feeding from the first power supply to the heater is cut off, and the second power supply is activated to start power feeding from the second power supply to the heater.

The image forming apparatus includes a photosensitive drum and an intermediate transfer belt that rotates in contact with the photosensitive drum, respective brushless DC motors for driving the photosensitive drum for rotation and the intermediate transfer belt for rotation, and a controller for controlling the brushless DC motors. The controller performs control such that the brushless DC motor applies assist torque to the photosensitive drum, for offsetting load torque acting thereon, thereby enabling the photosensitive drum to be friction-driven by the intermediate transfer belt.

The construction machine comprises a data sending and receiving portion for sending first information, a storage portion for storing received information, and a control portion for controlling an operation of the construction machine. The base station receives the first information from the data sending and receiving portion of the construction machine and sends second information to the construction machine and manages the construction machine. It is configured so that the communication device is connected to the base station through a communication network and can send third information to the construction machine through the base station.
