A computer-readable recording medium records a contract creation program for creating a contract image of a contract executed by parties each having private key. The program causes a computer to perform steps of: creating, for each party, a signature image of handwritten signature; creating, for each party, signature identification information for identifying the signature image; creating text identification information for identifying contract body text; creating, for each party, an intermediate cipher by enciphering the signature identification information of the party and the text identification information with the private key of the party; creating, for each party, a final cipher by enciphering the signature identification information of the party and the intermediate ciphers of all other parties with the private key of the party; creating an optical mark from each final cipher; and creating the contract image including the text, the signature images, and the optical marks disposed in predetermined columns.

An information processing system includes a first communication interface, an information processing apparatus which obtains job data through the first communication interface, and an image processing apparatus which executes a print job defined by the job data. The job data includes print data which defines an image and setting data which defines setting for the print job. The information processing apparatus includes a processor which performs specific processing in accordance with the setting and modifies contents of setting for the setting data of the job data so as to cancel the setting corresponding to the performed specific processing and a second communication interface which transfers the modified job data to the image processing apparatus.

A cryptographic system that can prevent encryption and decryption processes from being inefficient as an encryption key is updated is provided. The cryptographic system includes: a first encryption unit for encrypting original data in a first encryption method using a main key to generate first encrypted data; a second encryption unit for encrypting the first encrypted data in a second encryption method using a sub key to generate second encrypted data; a database for storing the second encrypted data generated; a key update unit for updating the current version of the main key to a new version of the main key and updating the current version of the sub key to a new version of the sub key; and a data update unit for converting the second encrypted data encrypted with the current version of the sub key into a state encrypted with the new version of the sub key.
