A joint structure comprises a first panel and a second panel joined together by mechanical clinching. The joint structure includes a join region that is formed so as to extend in an elongated shape by forming plural clinched portions in a given arrangement by mechanical clinching. At least one clinched portion of the plural clinched portions is clinched from an opposite panel side from other clinched portions of the plurality of clinched portions.

Joint structure

A fixing component is configured such that the other end portion of the fixing component is engaged with a second support member by elastically deforming an elastic portion provided to at least one of the fixing component, a first support member, the second support member. Accordingly, the fixing component can be brought to interfere (contact) with the article so as to fix the article by an elastic force (restoring force) of the elastic portion. Since this structure requires no nut when fixing the article, no tool is required for fastening the nut, and thus the procedure of fixing the article can be reduced, compare to a case of requiring a nut (related art).

There is provided a joint structure for a vehicle, the joint structure including: a plate-shaped first member; a plate-shaped second member, of which at least a portion is superposed with the first member in a plate thickness direction of the first member; plural crimped portions provided in a region at which the first member and the second member are superposed, the first member and second member being joined at the crimped portions by mechanical clinching from a side at which the first member is disposed; and a reinforcing portion provided at the first member, the reinforcing portion being inflected toward a substantially normal direction in a vicinity of the crimped portions.

Joint structure for vehicle

A vehicle side body includes a vertical plate, a horizontal plate connected to a lower edge of the vertical plate and extending outward from the edge to form an L-shaped inside edge with the vertical plate, an opening extending in the vertical plate and the horizontal plate across the inside edge, and an L-shaped bracket fixed to, around the opening, an inner surface of the vertical plate and a lower surface of the horizontal plate. A hydrogen filling port to which a hydrogen filling nozzle is connectable is attached to the L-shaped bracket. A rib plate is provided to connect an outer surface of the vertical plate and an upper surface of the horizontal plate. An accidental contact between the hydrogen filling nozzle and a body is inhibited.

Vehicle side body

A vehicle composite member to be joined at a perimeter section to a ferrous vehicle body member is provided. The vehicle composite member includes a lightweight panel that is formed of a lightweight material having a lighter specific weight than iron, and a ferrous perimeter member that has been integrated with the lightweight panel. The perimeter section is configured by the ferrous perimeter member.

A vehicle rear portion structure includes an upper back and an upper back reinforcement. The upper back reinforcement is made of a material different from the upper back and is provided to extend in a vehicle width direction on an upper side of a rear portion of the upper back in a vehicle front-rear direction. The upper back reinforcement includes a front flange, a rear flange, a bulging portion, and a luggage opening flange. Luggage weather rubber is attached to the luggage opening flange. The upper back is joined to the rear flange of the upper back reinforcement at a rear end portion of the upper back in the vehicle front-rear direction by any of caulking joining, bolt joining, and rivet joining. A rear side joining portion is covered with the luggage weather rubber.

Vehicle rear portion structure

A fuel lid structure includes: a lid box constituting a fuel opening portion of a vehicle body; a lid hinge that is made of resin and is pivotable with respect to the lid box; a fuel lid body pivotably attached to the lid box via the lid hinge; and an alerting unit configured to alert a replenishment worker to a body or the like of the replenishment worker hitting the fuel lid body in an open state by at least one of imparting of a sense of resistance and emission of a sound.

A vehicle exterior structure includes a roof panel, a panel rear window glass, a glass side-edge molding disposed along a side edge of the rear window glass, and a garnish having a constant cross section extending in a direction in which the roof panel and the rear window glass are lined. The garnish is disposed to face a side surface of the roof panel and a side surface of the glass side-edge molding. The side surface of the glass side-edge molding is a wall surface which faces the garnish. The garnish is characterized by having an inner lip which faces the side surface of the roof panel and the wall surface. In this way, a vehicle exterior structure with improved appearance and suppressed noise can be provided.
