A control device for a movable member includes a DC motor for establishing position transfer of the movable member in such a manner that after a first position of the movable member is stored in a memory, even if the movable member is at a second position, the moving member is returned to the first position only upon manipulating a switch and a motor pulse generating circuit generates a cut-off frequency which is variable depending on a ripple pulse frequency which is indicative of a rotational number of the motor.

A slot antenna,is disposed at the slit,, and includes feeding points,installed on the conductor. The above-described door approach transmission and reception apparatus can be used in a door lock control apparatus where a search radio wave is emitted from a vehicle, a portable wireless device,receives the search radio wave, and returns an ID signal. An electrically driven door lock apparatus,is driven to unlock the door when the returned ID signal coincides with a registered ID signal. The search radio wave is irradiated from the slot antenna. Either of a transmitter,and a receiver,is selectively connected to the feeding points,. By virtue of the above-described features, the emission and reception of radio waves is realized, and in the case of a door handle made of a metal, the number of parts for emission and reception of the radio waves are reduced.

Door approach communication apparatus and door lock control apparatus

A device for determining a rotational number of an electric dc motor which drives a moving body of an automobile accessory such a sunroof, or a glass pane of a power window includes a switched capacitance filter for eliminating noise from the motor, a cutoff frequency of the switched capacitance filter being dependent on a clock input thereof; a pulse shaping circuit for generating a ripple pulse signal indicative of the rotational number of the motor by wave-shaping an output of the switched capacitance filter; and a pulse generating circuit providing an output pulse signal so as to establish a condition wherein the frequency of the ripple pulse signal is equalized to the cutoff frequency of the a switched capacitance filter.

A vehicle door lock control apparatus includes a remote control unit that provides instructions to effect a lock condition or an unlock condition of a door look mechanism, a door handle switch which detects the operating condition of a door handle, a door lock control unit that effects the lock condition or the unlock condition of the door lock mechanism in response to signals produced by the door handle switch or the remote control unit, and a contact electrode connected to the door lock control unit for detecting operation of the door handle through contact by a user. The remote control unit has an electrode that establishes a capacitance combination between the remote control unit and the door lock control unit.

Door lock control apparatus for a vehicle

A sheet-like pressure sensitive switch is disclosed. A spacer 2 of an insulating material is interposed between a first film 1 of an insulating material which is provided with a first electrode 1a and a second film 3 of an insulating material which is provided with a second electrode 3a. The spacer 2 has a number of openings 2a, through which the first electrode 1a and the second electrode 3a oppose each other with an air gap therebetween. A first lead wire 4a and a second lead wire 4b are connected to the first electrode 1a and the second electrode 3a, respectively. In a pressure sensitive switch according to a first embodiment, the first and the second film 1, 3 are formed of polyethylene naphthalate films. In a pressure sensitive switch according to a second embodiment, the second film 3 is formed of polyethylene terephthalate film while the first film 1 is formed of polyethylene naphthalate film.

An occupant sensing apparatus for detecting a seated person on a seat includes a pressure switch disposed in the seat. The pressure switch has a pair of films and a pair of electrodes disposed between the films. The pair of electrodes are spaced in the films so as to define an OFF condition of the pressure switch. The pressure switch is in an ON condition when the electrodes contact each other. The occupant sensing apparatus further includes a controller connected to the electrodes of the pressure switch and determining whether the seat is occupied in accordance with the ON or OFF condition of the pressure switch.

A pressure sensitive switch includes a first insulating film provided on one surface thereof with an electrode sheet and an insulating spacer having one surface connected to one surface of the first insulating film and a thickness. The insulating spacer is formed with a plurality of holes, each having a diameter larger than the thickness and a plurality of air-vents, each having a width which is narrower than the diameter of the holes in such a manner that the holes and the air-vents are in mutual air communication and extend through the insulating spacer along its thickness direction. A second insulating film is provided on one surface thereof with another electrode sheet and one surface of the second insulating film is connected to the other surface of the insulating spacer. A cord has a first wire and a second wire connected to the electrode sheet of the first insulating film and the electrode sheet of the second insulating film, respectively. A plurality of air passages extend through the first insulating film along its thickness direction and are in air communication with the air-vents and exposed to an exterior atmosphere.

Apparatus for unlocking a door lock for a vehicle

A regulator for a power window having a safety function for preventing an object from being caught in a closing power window includes a driving unit for raising and lowering the window glass of a vehicle and a driven unit which receives power from the driving unit. When frictional resistance corresponding to relative displacement between the driving and driven units is less than a fixed value during descent of the window glass and exceeds this fixed during ascent of the window glass, the ascending window glass is reversed and made to descend. When the amount of an increase in current to the driving unit during ascent of the window glass increases in a case where the sliding resistance has exceeded a fixed value even once during descent of the window glass, the ascending window glass is reversed and made to descend.

Communication system for communicating information ascertaining why

A relative speed of a vehicle with respect to a satellite is detected from a deviation of a tuning frequency caused by the Doppler effect, and a vehicle speed is determined from the relative speed. A piezoelectric oscillation gyro detects an angular speed of rotation of the vehicle, which is integrated to determine an azimuth. A travel is detected in terms of the vehicle speed and the azimuth, and the detected travel and information from available GPS satellites are substituted into a navigation equation to solve it for a solution. Alternatively, altitude information detected by an altitude sensor and the angular speed of rotation of the vehicle as detected by the piezoelectric oscillation gyro may be is inputted. The angular speed of rotation is integrated to determine the azimuth. Information from two GPS satellites and information representing azimuth .phi. and altitude .DELTA.z are substituted into the navigation equation to solve it for a solution. Kalman filter is employed. Even when available GPS satellites is two or one, the determination of the position of the vehicle is enabled. The need for a vehicle speed sensor is eliminated, and the accuracy of positioning is enhanced.

Onboard positioning system

A length of time required for the verification of data transmitted from a satellite or satellites is reduced. A distance r1 calculated from a time delay required for the propagation of a radio wave between a transmitting and a receiving site is obtained, as is a line-of-sight distance r2 which is calculated from the positions of a satellite and a point of reception. When a difference between these two distances is small, data from these satellites are regarded as valid data. However, when the difference is large, data is regarded as involving a large error. The position of the point of reception is determined by a positioning calculation which utilizes data from predetermined three or four verified satellites, or is entered by an operator. The position of the satellite is obtained from orbital data which is delivered by that satellite.

A GPS signal receiver has a PN code generator for producing a PN code identical to a PN code in a received GPS signal which is transmitted from a GPS satellite, the PN code produced by the PN code generator being controllable in phase, a PN code correlator for correlating the received GPS signal with the PN code produced by the PN code generator so as to code-strip the received GPS signal, a signal search unit for monitoring a correlated output signal from the PN code correlator and controlling the phase of the PN code produced by the PN code generator to search for a correlated output signal in excess of a predetermined value, a signal determining unit for determining the correlated output signal in excess of the predetermined value as being produced by a direct wave of the GPS signal, and a signal tracking unit for controlling the phase of the PN code produced by the PN code generator to track a peak of the correlated output signal that is determined as being produced by the direct wave of the GPS signal.

An image processing device for converting a scanned image into a monochrome image includes a scanner for providing an image signal which is applied to a sampling and holding circuit. The output of the scanning and holding circuit is supplied to a peak hold circuit and to a comparator. The output of the peak hold circuit is also applied to the comparator and the output of the comparator is supplied to a D-type flip flop circuit, the output of which is fed back to the input to the comparator from the scanning and holding circuit. The D-type flip flop generates an alteration of black and white level signals when the output from the sampling and holding circuit is close to the threshold level whereby a printer will print alterations of black and white dots.

An information communicating system and method comprising an order station and a plurality of mobile stations. When the order station cannot communicate with a mobile station, the order station selects one mobile station which is nearest to the uncommunicable mobile station and orders the selected mobile station to communicate with the uncommunicated mobile station. Communicable mobile station send information to the order station. The selected mobile station communicates with the uncommunicable mobile station appointed by the order station according to an order from the order station, and transmits the position information of uncommunicable mobile station to the order station. The order station displays the position of the mobile station to control movement of the mobile station.
