Stick-shaped solid cosmeticcomprises a wax with a melting point of 45&#xb0; C. or higher and liquid oil, wherein the hardness of top portionis 0.07 N to 0.38 N and the hardness of boundary portion, which is a border between a retained portion in inner holderand a portion outside of the inner holder, is 0.03 N to 0.31 N higher than the hardness of the top portion, and wherein the hardness gradually increases from the top portionto the boundary portion. Thus, the stick-shaped solid cosmetichas smooth spreadability and excellent product strength.

A cosmetic stick container includes a housing sleeve, an inner sleeve provided inside the housing sleeve so as to be advanceble and retractable along a length of said housing sleeve, a cosmetic stick molded directly inside the housing sleeve having a capsule attached thereto so as to be secured to the inner sleeve, and a mold lubricant constituted of a composition having low compatibility with a composition of the cosmetic stick. The mold lubricant is applied on inner surfaces of the housing sleeve and the capsule.
