An indoor unit in an air conditioner configured to condition air in an indoor space includes: a casing that includes an intake port opened downward toward the indoor space; a fan configured to suck air in the indoor space into the casing via the intake port; a collector configured to collect dust contained in the air sucked via the intake port; a light source configured to irradiate an upstream side of the collector in an air flow direction with ultraviolet rays; a shield configured to block the ultraviolet rays from the light source toward the intake port; and a protecting member having a mesh shape and covering the intake port at a position upstream of the collector in the air flow direction.

Indoor unit in air conditioner

An air conditioner switches between a normal refrigeration cycle and a defrosting refrigeration cycle, and includes: a refrigerant circuit that connects a first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, a radiation panel, and an expansion valve that regulates a flow rate of a refrigerant flowing through the radiation panel; and a controller that causes the air conditioner to switch between the normal refrigeration cycle and the defrosting cycle. During the normal refrigeration cycle, the radiation panel performs cooling or heating. During the defrosting cycle, the first heat exchanger serves as a radiator and the second heat exchanger serves as an evaporator. During the defrosting cycle, the controller causes the expansion valve to be in a fully closed state.

Air-conditioning apparatus

An air-conditioning device includes: a suction air temperature sensor provided in an indoor unit; a wireless temperature sensor unit separate from the indoor unit; an abnormal condition determining section determining whether or not the wireless temperature sensor unit is in an abnormal condition; an index setting section setting a temperature index value; and a controller controlling operation of the air-conditioning device based on the set temperature index value. While the abnormal condition determining section determines that the wireless temperature sensor unit is in the abnormal condition, the index setting section determines a measurement value of the suction air temperature sensor to be the temperature index value.

Air-conditioning device

A receiver unit includes: a receiving section receiving a signal of a measurement value (Tm) transmitted from a wireless temperature sensor unit; an input connector connected to a sensor signal line, the sensor signal line being configured to transfer a signal of a measurement value (Tm) of the suction air temperature sensor; a signal generator generating a signal serving as an index of indoor temperature, based on the measurement values (Tm, Tm) of the wireless temperature sensor unit and the suction air temperature sensor; and a signal output section outputting the signal generated by the signal generator to a controller of an air-conditioning device.
