A rotor of a motor is attached to a rotor axis slidably both in axial direction and rotational direction, each of elastic bodies is attached to each of side faces of the rotor, and the rotor is fastened to the rotor axis through the elastic body, mechanically by applying pressure on each of the side faces of the rotor in the axial direction through the elastic body, or chemically by bonding the rotor axis and each of the elastic bodies as well as each of the elastic bodies and each of the corresponding side faces of the rotor.

Motor

In an abduction-type motor having a divided core() formed by dividing a stator core into plural blocks and a motor stator having such a structure as the divided core may be reassembled, the motor has a coil winding framecontinuously formed a continuous unit of coupling parts, a part of which is flexible and made of insulation material, embedded into the individual divided cores, and a coilarranged and wound by supporting the divided core so that the teeth top parts of the divided core may be directed inside and located on a circle, in which its coil winding structure has the number of coil stages at the teeth top part (external peripheral part) of the divided core larger than the number of the coil stages at the internal peripheral part, and the diameter of the teeth top part of the divided core after assembly is identical to the diameter of the teeth top part while coil winding work, and the length of the crossover linebetween the coil windings is made enough to be equivalent to a single slot or more, not excessive or not insufficient.

Abduction-type motor and fabrication method of motor stator thereof

A PM-type electric rotating machine comprises a rotation axis, a rotor that rotates together with the rotation axis and a stator that rotatably supports the rotation axis. The rotor has a closed-end-cup-shaped holder that is mounted at one end of the rotation axis and a permanent magnet fixed on an inner surface of a cylindrical portion of the holder. The stator has a housing bush that supports the rotation axis in an axis hole formed through the center of the housing bush, twelve stator cores that are radially mounted around the housing bush to face the outer tip ends thereof to the permanent magnet with an air gap, and coils that are wound around the stator cores via insulators. The inner base portions of the stator cores are connected to one another with pressure so as to form a ring-shaped yoke by mounting the stator cores around the housing bush.

Permanent magnet type electric rotating machine

A core has an annular inner core portion, a rib-shaped core portion extending radially from the annular inner core portion and an outer peripheral core portion. Magnetic pole tooth portions are formed in an annular shape on the outer periphery of the rib-shaped core portion, and the core is composed of a plurality of core blocks having the same shapes as blocks formed by dividing the core in circumferential direction. Each of the plurality of core blocks has a concave/convex engage portion at an inner peripheral portion corresponding to the inner periphery of the annular inner core portion, and the plurality of core blocks gathered so as to form the core are fastened each other by a cylindrical housing having an outer surface formed in concave/convex shape, inserted in the inner peripheral portion so as to engage with each other at the concave/convex engage portions, and changed in diameter relative to the core blocks due to thermal shrinkage or expansion of the cylindrical housing, so that the core blocks are tightly fitted to each other without any gap between adjacent core blocks.

Core, rotating machine using the core and production method thereof

In an electric motor comprising a rotor, a stator, a stator core that constitutes the stator, a core section that constitutes the stator core, a plurality of split core blocks which constitute the core section, and a metallic connection housing that connects the split core blocks in dovetailed form to create one connected core section, the split core blocks are each formed of a laminated steel plate, in that the connection housing is formed of a material softer than the laminated steel plate, and the dovetailed connections at the connection housing are plastically deformed to remove the connection gap existing at each of the dovetailed connections.

Electric motor

A permanent magnet motor comprising a permanent magnet and an armature having a plurality of winding grooves facing the permanent magnet with an air gap therebetween. The armature has a plurality of auxiliary grooves on a magnetic pole surface thereof, wherein a composite of two vectors of cogging torque generated by the auxiliary grooves is deviated by 180&deg; or 120&deg; from a vector of cogging torque generated by the winding grooves in the sixth harmonic plane, and wherein a width of a portion of an air gap magnetic flux density waveform that includes a value that is more than 90% of a peak value of the air gap magnetic flux density waveform is less than 80% or 86% of a width of a pole pitch portion of the air gap magnetic flux density waveform. Each vector of cogging torque generated by each of the plurality of auxiliary grooves is deviated by 180&deg; or 120&deg; from a vector of cogging torque generated by the winding grooves in the sixth harmonic plane, respectively, and wherein a width of a portion of an air gap magnetic flux density waveform that includes a value that is more than 90% of a peak value of the air gap magnetic flux density waveform is less than 80% or 86% of a width of a pole pitch portion of the air gap magnetic flux density waveform.

Permanent magnet motor

A three-phase hybrid type stepping motor of the present invention comprises a stator, a rotor arranged concentrically with the stator and with an air gap therebetween, six stator poles extending radially and formed at a regular pitch on the inner peripheral surface of an annular stator yoke, each of the stator poles having a plurality of small stator teeth at the tip end thereof, the rotor having two splitted rotor elements and a permanent magnet held therebetween and magnetized so as to form N and S poles in the axial direction thereof, fifty of small rotor teeth formed at a regular pitch on the outer peripheral surface of each of the rotor elements, the two splitted rotor elements being shifted from each other in angular position by a &frac12; pitch of the small rotor teeth, wherein a permeance distribution of the small stator teeth is a vernier pitch balanced by a six or three order harmonic wave, and a ratio of the width of the pole tooth to the rotor teeth pitch is set to 0.35-0.45.

Three-phase hybrid type stepping motor

A permanent-magnet electric rotating machine with a concentrated winding stator, including a stator having a plurality of stator magnetic poles formed so as to extend radially from an annular yoke portion of a stator iron core, and windings mounted on the stator magnetic poles; and a rotor having a permanent magnet with a plurality of magnetic poles and rotatably held so as to face the stator through an air gap; wherein each of the stator magnetic poles has a straight shape having a width which is made constant over a whole length, small grooves are formed in each of the stator magnetic poles in symmetrical positions on opposite sides and near a top end portion of the stator magnetic pole, a bottom portion of each slot portion defined by adjacent ones of the stator magnetic poles and the yoke is formed triangularly, each of the stator winding is constituted so that a winding having a predetermined number of turns and winding being formed so as to be fittable to each of the stator magnetic poles is mounted on the stator magnetic pole through an insulator, and wedges are fitted to the small grooves formed in the stator magnetic poles.

Permanent-magnet revolving electrodynamic machine with a concentrated winding stator

An electric rotary machine has a concentrated winding stator and a rotor facing the stator with a gap therebetween. The stator has M number of stator magnetic poles extending in the radial direction from an annular yoke, pole pieces each extending in the circumferential direction of the rotor from the tip end of each of the stator magnetic poles, and windings wound around the stator magnetic poles. The rotor having a permanent magnet with P number magnetic poles, wherein P:M&equals;6n&minus;2:6n, or P:M&equals;6n&plus;2:6n, where n is an integer not less than 2, and the figure of each of the pole pieces is so determined that a gap formed between the pole piece and the rotor is increased going toward the both ends of the pole piece.

Electric rotary machine having concentrated winding stator

Ceramics material are not resistant to tensile force, though they are resistant to compression force. Therefore, ceramics materials, when used as the material of a commutator of an electric rotary machine, tends to be cracked and broken due to tensile stress generated in the inner peripheral portion of the commutator when the latter is press-fitted on the rotor shaft of the machine. The invention is aimed at obviating the above-described problem, so as to make it possible to produce a sliding current collector of an electric rotary machine from a ceramics material. To this end, according to the invention, an annular gap is formed between the inner peripheral surface of the ceramics commutator and the other peripheral surface of the rotary shaft and the gap is filled with a resin such as a thermosetting resin which is then thermally set to form a resin layer by which the commutator is bonded to the rotor shaft. The resin layer effectively absorbs any tensile stress which may otherwise be caused in the inner peripheral portion of the commutator due to, for example, thermal expansion of the rotor shaft. It is thus possible to securely fix the commutator to the rotor shaft without risk of cracking or damaging of the commutator.

Sliding current collector made of ceramics

A novel DC rotary electric machine of permanent magnet field type is disclosed, in which a plurality of permanent field magnets having an auxiliary pole of magnetic material are arranged alternately with a plurality of field magnets including only a magnetic material along the peripheral direction. The field magnets with the auxiliary poles are arranged adjacently with the field magnets of magnetic material with through bolts extending therebetween.

DC rotary electric machine of permanent magnet field type

A permanent magnet field type DC machine in which the amount of flux from field poles is changed by effective use of armature reaction thereby to improve characteristics of the DC machine. There is provided a permanent magnet field type DC machine having field poles formed of permanent magnet members and auxiliary magnetic pole members of high permeability which are provided in parallel with each other in the direction of rotation on the peripheral surface of a yoke to oppose an armature with an air gap therebetween, the auxiliary magnetic pole members being magnetized by armature reaction thereby to change the total amount of field magnetic flux from the field poles, wherein the gap between the auxiliary magnetic pole members and armature is selected to be smaller than that between the permanent magnet members and armature, thereby decreasing the reluctances in the paths of the auxiliary magnetic pole members, so that the armature reaction can be effectively used.

Permanent magnet field type DC machine

A generator generates two voltage outputs which have different voltage levels. One voltage output from the generator is used for operating a power steering apparatus. Another voltage output from the generator is used for charging a battery which supplies current to other loads.

An electric power steering apparatus for a vehicle comprises a steering shaft, an electric motor operable to generate an auxiliary steering force having a magnitude corresponding to a value of electric current supplied thereto, a steering toque sensor for detecting a steering torque applied to the steering shaft, a vehicle weight sensor for detecting a vehicle weight, and a control device. The control device is constituted to increase and decrease the value of electric current to be supplied to the electric motor in accordance with not only the increase and decrease of the value detected by the steering torque sensor but also the increase and decrease of the value detected by the vehicle weight sensor.
