A control device of a power storage apparatus according to an embodiment includes a wind speed acquiring device, a power generation output detector, a capacity detector, and a controller. The wind speed acquiring device acquires a wind speed. The power generation output detector detects a power generation output of a wind power generation apparatus connected to a power system. The capacity detector detects a remaining capacity of the power storage apparatus that stores at least a portion of a power in the power generation output and supplies at least a portion of the stored power to the power system. The controller controls storage and supply of the power to suppress a variation in a combined output obtained by combining the power generation output and the power stored or supplied by the power storage apparatus, based on the wind speed, the power generation output, and the remaining capacity.

A wind power generation system has a windmill, a lift improvement device, a power generator, a storage, and a controller. The windmill rotates when receiving an airflow. The lift improvement device has a capability of operating and halting, the lift improvement device increases a lift force to a blade of the windmill when operating. The power generator generates power by rotation of the windmill and a torque is generated in a direction suppressing rotation of the windmill. The storage stores a plurality of characteristic maps indicating characteristics of the torques of the power generator in relation to rotation speeds of the power generator. The controller controls a power generation amount of the power generator by switching and using the plurality of characteristic maps of the storage in correspondence with a state of operating or halting of the lift improvement device.

Wind power generation system and wind power generation method

A wind farm output control device includes a potential estimator estimating a maximum electrical energy outputtable by each wind power generation device, a control amount determiner determining, based on the estimated maximum power amount, a control amount for an effective power of each wind power generation device and/or a reactive power thereof in a wind farm, and a control amount distributor distributing the control amount based on an available power generation amount of each wind power generation device. The potential estimator estimates the maximum power amount based on a pitch angle of blades, an angular speed deviation of a power generator, and a conversion loss of the wind power generation device. Within the range of the estimated maximum power amount, the control amount for the output by the wind farm is distributed within a range where each wind power generation device is outputtable according to the wind condition.

Output control device, method and program for wind farm

An output by a wind farm including multiple wind power generation devices is controlled by an output control device. To control the output, (1) a potential estimator estimates an outputtable maximum power amount by each wind power generation device, (2) a control amount determiner determines a control amount of the whole wind farm based on the maximum power amount estimated by the potential estimator, (3) a control timing adjuster adjusts a control timing of the control amount of the whole wind farm, (4) a control amount distributer distributes the control amount having undergone the control timing adjustment based on an available power generation amount of each wind power generation device.

Further, the system includes a measurement device detecting information related to at least one of output in the wind power generation system, torque in the rotorand a rotation speed of the blades, and a control unitcontrolling the discharge power supplybased on an output from the measurement device.
