A traction apparatus which impresses a desired traction force to a body to be pulled is provided. The traction apparatus includes: a traction mechanism that includes a harness coupled to the body to be pulled, a rope having one end attached to the harness, and a take-up drum attaching to an other end of the rope and impressing the traction force on the body to be pulled by taking up the rope; a first pulley that engages at a predetermined wrapping angle the rope to which the traction force is impressed by being taken up by the take-up drum, a rope load being impressed to the first pulley from the rope; a coupling plate that rotatably holds the first pulley, the rope load being impressed to the coupling plate from the first pulley; a load sensor plate that holds the coupling plate at one end portion thereof, the rope load being impressed to the load sensor from the coupling plate; an outer frame that fixes an other end portion of the load sensor plate; and a load cell adhered to a surface of the load sensor plate.

A muscle hardness meter according to the present invention, which measures the hardness of muscle tissue of a living organism, includes: an auxiliary part which touches a periphery of a section of the living organism to be measure so as to apply pressure to the periphery; a touching part which touches the section to be measured so as to apply pressure to the section to be measured; a first pressure sensor which measures pressures that the touching part and the auxiliary part sustain, respectively, from the section to be measured and the periphery, and outputs a first measurement result; a second pressure sensor which measures a pressure that the touching part sustains from the section to be measure, and outputs a second measurement result; a notification part which notifies the second measurement result; and a control part which determines whether or not the first measurement result teaches a reference pressure value input in advance and notifies the second measurement result to the notification part at a time when it is determined that the first measurement result reaches the reference value.

A low-frequency treatment device includes electrodes to which a low-frequency pulse signal is supplied so as to apply an electric stimulus to a living body; a section for presetting a number of times of muscle contraction which occurs by applying the electric stimulus; a section for setting a pulse signal conducting time period and a pulse signal pausing time period in an interval; a section for computing a treatment time period based on the number of times of muscle contraction and on the conducting and the pausing time periods; a timer which starts counting a time period when supply of the pulse signal is started, and transmits a stop signal for stopping the supply of the pulse signal when the counted time period reaches the computed treatment time period; and a device for shutting off a circuit for supplying the pulse signal based on the stop signal.
