Provided is an in-vivo image capturing system including a capsule casing, an analyzing unit, and a warning unit. The capsule casing is insertable into a body of a subject from an oral cavity and it includes an imaging optical system which may obtain images only in one end direction. The analyzing unit analyzes the image components within the oral cavity obtained by the imaging optical system. The warning unit issues a warning to a user about the direction of the capsule casing based on the analytical result by the analyzing unit.

A capsule-type medical apparatus includes a distal-end cover which is formed in a substantially hemispherical dome shape, the distal-end cover having an open bonding end portion; a drum portion cover which is formed in a hollow cylindrical shape, the drum portion cover having an open bonding end portion; a function executing unit which executes a predetermined preset function, the function executing unit being accommodated in the drum portion cover; and an electric storage unit which accumulates drive electric power for driving the function executing unit, wherein the bonding end portion of the distal-end cover and the bonding end portion of the drum portion cover are subjected to a surface treatment, the bonding end portion of the distal-end cover and the bonding end portion of the drum portion cover are bonded after the surface treatment to form an outer casing which has a capsule shape insertable into a test subject and which seals an inside in a liquid tight manner.

The present invention is directed to reliably prevent a trouble that a battery is loaded either in a state where a ribbon is entirely housed in a battery housing or without a ribbon by a simple method using a ribbon. Guide parts () are provided on both side walls () of a battery housing (). A ribbon () is set so as to cross the battery housing () in a stretched state by the guide parts () in a position where the battery can be taken out by drawing the ribbon (). With the configuration, at the time of loading a battery, by making the ribbon () extend outside, the ribbon () is not entirely housed in the battery housing () or absence of the ribbon () in the battery housing () can be prevented. By making the battery front end face come into contact with the stretched ribbon () and inserting a battery, a normal loading state in which the ribbon () is pushed to the deepest place can be assured. The battery ejecting function with a simple ribbon () can be reliably displayed.

Portable electronic device and capsule endoscope diagnosis system

A sliding mechanism of a lens barrier, a lens barrier, and a camera have a simplified structure and can be readily downsized. An imaging apparatus has an imaging lens which focuses light to form an image. The lens barrier serves to cover the imaging lens from outside and is mounted on a main body of the imaging apparatus. The sliding mechanism of the lens barrier includes plural cam grooves and plural engaging members. The plural cam grooves are formed on a surface, which faces the main body of the imaging apparatus, of the lens barrier. The plural cam grooves have substantially parallel trajectories. The plural engaging members are arranged in the main body of the imaging apparatus and contact with the bottom portions of the plural cam grooves at least at three positions. The plural engaging members guide the lens barrier along the sliding direction. The lens barrier further includes an inner barrier and an outer barrier. The inner barrier is attached to the main body of the imaging apparatus and is slidable along a predetermined direction. The outer barrier is detachably attached to a surface, which is different from the surface attached to the main body of the imaging apparatus, of the inner barrier. The outer barrier has a surface area at least larger than the imaging lens.

An in-vivo image capturing apparatus including a capsule casing, a gravity sensor, and an image selector. The capsule casing is insertable into a body of a subject and it includes an imaging optical system which can obtain images in the both end directions. The gravity sensor detects a gravity direction of the capsule casing within the body of the subject. The image selector selects one of the both end directions as an imaging direction of the imaging optical system, according to the detected result of the gravity direction by the gravity sensor.

A medical capsule housing includes first and second outer members made of a resin material, both having an opening at one end. The first and second outer members are thermally welded by ultrasonic welding at an abutting portion. The abutting portion includes a sharp edged line portion which forms the opening end portion of the first outer member and an inclined surface portion which forms the opening end portion of the second outer member. The sharp edged line portion is provided in a closed space formed by the first outer member and the second outer member before the ultrasonic welding.

After excretion, the cylindrical net member () is taken out and only a capsule endoscope () is collected. In such a manner, a capsule-type medical device discharged from a subject to the outside is easily collected.

The present invention provides a mobile information terminal apparatus, wherein a power supply terminal formed from a wire having elasticity, in which an electrode contact section is provided between two twisted coil springs, is brought into contact with an electrode of a battery so that feeding is carried out. This realizes a terminal, which does not easily reach the yield point against the degree of deformation caused by an impact with use of its characteristics provided from the wire material, in which the degree of a change in spring force is small against movement of the battery, and which has an excellent following-up property. Accordingly, the mobile information terminal apparatus according to the invention prevents interruption of feeding, or contact failure, etc. caused by an external impact, etc. from occurring therein.

There has been a problem with a film provided on a surface of an input section such as a touch panel etc., which is arranged on a display such as a conventional type of liquid crystal display or the like is swelled or corrugated owing to deterioration with the lapse of time, or change in temperature and humidity. According to the present invention, there is provided an information input display device. The device comprises a drawing action section which generates tension to draw outward directly or indirectly by elasticity in a film, when an input section capable of displaying in a transmittable manner, which is arranged on a surface of a display section, is attached to an housing. The device prevents swelling or corrugation of the film from occurring by the tension.

The present invention relates to a portable information terminal apparatus including a stopper mechanism for operating in such a manner that, in a state in which a detachable built-in electronic device such as a memory card is inserted and attached to a connector arranged in the apparatus, when an external impact is applied, the memory card is prevented from being detached from the connector on the rear side of the memory card or, even when the card is detached, the detachment is restricted within a detachment allowable range where electrical connection is not influenced.

Apparatus for exposure control/focus adjustment for a camera comprises an exposure controlling mechanism, a focus adjusting mechanism and a source of rotary drive. The drive from the source is transmitted through a differential gearing to the exposure controlling mechanism and the focus adjusting mechanism. The differential gearing is operated such that the transmission of the drive to either one of the exposure controlling mechanism and the focus adjusting mechanism is blocked while allowing the other mechanism to be driven.

A solid state image pick-up device with a shutter function including a number of charge coupled devices of vertical overflow domain type is disclosed. A light receiving portion comprises a p.sup.- epitaxial layer arranged on a main surface of an n.sup.+ substrate and an n.sup.+ diffusion surface region is provided in a surface of the p.sup.- layer. A p.sup.+ control gate for controlling a potential barrier between the n.sup.+ diffusion surface region and the p.sup.- epitaxial layer is formed in the epitaxial layer adjacent to the light receiving portion, and a p well region is formed in the epitaxial layer adjacent to the light receiving portion. During a shutter close period, i.e. before a signal charge storing operation, a control voltage applied to the control gate and a reverse bias voltage applied across the n.sup.+ substrate and p.sup.- epitaxial layer are so adjusted that a potential barrier between the epitaxial layer and surface region is made sufficiently small to completely discharge all the charge stored in the light receiving portion into the substrate serving as the overflow drain.

A SIT (Static Induction Transistor) image sensor with a high-sensitivity and a high-fidelity is disclosed. The image sensor comprises a SIT image cell array and a scanning circuit which scans in turn a plurality of SIT image cells in such a manner that respective scanning time in all the cells are equal throughout a sequential scanning operation for the SIT image sensor. A reading line and a refreshing line may be combined into a single line. A differential amplifier is provided for correcting a picture element information to remove a noise component therefrom.

An apparatus for picking-up an image of an object including a solid state image sensor having a number of image sensing elements and an objective lens for projecting the image of the object onto the image sensor is disclosed. In order to remove a curvature of field of the objective lens, the image sensor is curved into a spherical shape having a radius of curvature equal to that of the curvature of field. The solid state image sensor may be curved in any desired shape to correct various aberrations of the objective lens.
