A mounting structure of a flexible printed circuit board and a sliding-type electronic device is provided by which a too large increase in thickness of devices can be avoided and a pair of housings can be slid relatively in a bending and slanting direction. In the mounting structure, an upper housingand a lower housingcoupled in a freely slidable manner are electrically connected to each other by a flexible printed circuit board folded back to be routed between slide facing surfacesandof both the housings and the height of a side wall surfaceandof the upper housing and lower housing changes in a bending manner along the direction of freely sliding and, in the slide facing surfaces of the upper housing and lower housing, concave space portionsandto accommodate the change in curvature and in position of a folding-back portioncaused by sliding motion between the upper housing and lower housing are disposed.

Mounting structure of flexible printed circuit board and sliding-type electronic device

Sliding electronic apparatus

A slide type electronic apparatus which can prevent internal structure such as a slide mechanism from being visually recognized from a gap between two cases and suppress dirt, dust and the like invading from the gap is provided. A slide type electronic apparatus according to the present invention includes: two cases; slide means, which is arranged between the two cases, for connecting the two cases in a manner that the two cases can slide each other; and covering means, which is arranged in one of the cases, for hiding a gap formed between the two cases at least at a time of an opened state in which an overlap of the two cases becomes smallest.

Slide type electronic apparatus

First and second housings of a metal sheet are superposed over each other and fixed to each other by bolts to form an element receiving space. An antenna is fixed to the second housing by a bolt so as to be adjacent to the first housing. A hook section is fixed to the first housing. The hook section is inserted in a hole of the antenna, a step-shaped forward lower step section of the hook section is engaged with the peripheral edge of the hole in the antenna, and thus the first housing and the antenna are fixed to each other. The antenna is embedded in resin and covered by the resin.

Portable apparatus

A strap attaching section of a folding portable apparatus includes a recessed section arranged on a hinge section of a case configuring the portable apparatus, a strap holder stored in the recessed section, and a coupler for coupling the strap holder and the hinge section. The coupler includes a first pin hole which penetrates the strap holder, a second pin hole formed on the hinge section, a groove formed on an outer surface of the hinge section, and a pin. The groove is provided with a first region whereupon one end of the second pin hole opens, and a second region continued to the first region. A first portion of the pin extends through the first and second pin holes, and a second portion of the pin is arranged in the second region in the groove. A cover is removably attached to the case to cover the groove.

An information display window of an electronic appliance, which improves the cosmetic design without increasing the cost, is provided. The information display window is provided at a cabinet of a mobile telephone. A display is provided in the cabinet as a built-in type. The information display window is constituted of an opening part formed in the cabinet to the front direction of the display and a transparent panel fitted into the opening part. The transparent panel is made of synthetic resin and the outer surface of the transparent panel has a glossy surface and the inner surface of the transparent panel is formed to a satin finish surface. A rim of the opening part of the cabinet becomes a window frame and a step part is formed at the whole inner rim of the window frame on the outside surface of the window frame. The outer rim of the transparent panel is disposed at the step part of the window frame and the transparent panel is supported on the window frame. The inner surface of the outer rim of the transparent panel and the upper surface of the step part of the window frame is stuck with adhesive tape on both sides and the transparent panel is fixed on the window frame of the cabinet.

Information display window of electronic appliance

A battery terminal holding structure of the present invention and applicable to a miniature electronic apparatus includes a casing for accommodating a battery, and a printed circuit board loaded with electronic parts. A positive and a negative battery terminal each having resiliency and conductivity are affixed to the casing at one end and to the circuit board at the other end. The two battery terminals each includes ribs and bent portions. When the ribs of the battery terminals are inserted in notches formed in the circuit board, the bent portions of the terminals resiliently nip and press associated electrodes provided on the circuit board so as to set up electrical connection. Another rib extends out from each battery terminal and is inserted in a groove formed in the casing, positioning the circuit board relative to the casing. The battery has its positive and negative terminals respectively held in contact with the battery terminals within the casing. Such a structure makes it needless to solder the battery terminals to the circuit board and thereby saves cost while promoting recycling of the structural elements.

A radio pager has a casing and a cover capable of covering the casing. A hinge structure for connecting the casing and cover has a fulcrum portion included in the casing, and a flexible bearing portion included in the cover and capable of mating with the fulcrum portion. A locking mechanism for locking the cover to the casing has a recess formed in the casing, and a flexible tongue included in the cover and capable of mating with the recess. The cover protects a display portion of the casing from damage and can be easily mounted and dismounted from the casing.

A mounting structure of the vibration-generating-motor comprises a vibration-generating-motor and a holder for holding the vibration-generating-motor. A holding section of the holder contacts faced inner surfaces of a case and is held by the inner surfaces. Vibrations of the vibration-generating-motor are directly conveyed to the case through the holding section. For assembling, the holder holding the motor passes through a circuit board and is fixed by a hole formed on the circuit board. Then, the both ends of the holder are brought into contact with faced inner surfaces of the case so that the holder is held by the inner surfaces. The above structure enables vibrations of a vibration-generating-motor to be efficiently conveyed to the surface of the case and reduces undesirable sounds due to resonance of a circuit board.
