Provided is a flexible polyurethane foam having high hardness required for weight reduction of members and having low stress relaxation. A flexible polyurethane foam comprises a structural protein fiber having a length of 0.1 mm to 5 mm.

A radio wave absorber comprising a thermosetting adhesive sheetthat is cured into a flexible material, and a Sendust-containing curable resin composition layerthat is cured into a flexible material, wherein the curable resin composition layer is formed on either surface of the thermosetting adhesive sheet. The average particle diameter of Sendust is in the range of 30 to 100 &#x3bc;m. The content ratio of Sendust in the curable resin composition layer is in the range of 50 to 85 wt %.

A sealant application method for applying a first sealant as a preliminary sealant to a second sealant as a subsequent sealant, comprising the steps of subjecting a surface of the first sealant to an electric discharge treatment; and applying the second sealant directly to or through a primer to the first sealant after the electric discharge treatment. The first sealant preliminarily applied is first subjected to the electric discharge treatment to thereby reform the surface of the first sealant into an optimum-condition, thereby ensuring strong adhesion of the second sealant to the first sealant.

Sealant application method

In one of several methods of producing polybutadiene or a butadiene-styrene copolymer with an organolithium initiator, an organotin compound such as tetraallyltin, tetrabenzyltin and tetraphenyltin is added to the polymerization system in a period of growth of the polymer chain between a time immediately after a start of the polymerization to a time before an end of the polymerization. In another of the methods, tin tetrachloride or tin dichloride is added at an earlier time after a start of the polymerization. A polymer comprising a considerable amount of high molecular weight polymer containing the chain having a tin-carbon linkage is formed. A rubber composition for tires comprises specified amounts of the polymer described above, natural rubber, carbon black and vulcanizing agents. The rubber composition has a small loss factor and excellent fracture properties. The rubber composition provides a tire having excellent wear resistance, low rolling resistance and wet skid resistance without impairing fracture properties. In addition, the rubber composition is inexpensive.

Vinyl-substituted benzylorganotin compound and a polymer thereof

A method for preparing a polymer having low hysteresis loss value and good breaking properties using a novel lithium initiator compound for polymerization of a conjugated diene and/or an aromatic vinyl hydrocarbon.
