In a control valve for a variable capacity compressor, coolant that is sucked in from a suction chamber through a suction conduit is compressed and delivered to a delivery chamber through a delivery conduit and the coolant pressure is controlled by an electromagnetic control valve. Opening/closing control of a gas supply valve body (gas supply side) that communicates with the delivery conduit and a crank chamber and of an extraction valve body (extraction side) that communicates with the crank chamber and the suction conduit is performed in accordance with the suction coolant pressure of the suction conduit. A crank chamber communication port communicates with the extraction valve chamber.

Control valve for variable capacity compressor

The sensitivity of a pressure-sensitive element in a pressure-sensitive part of a control valve for variable-capacity compressor is made adjustable by means of an adjusting screw provided so as to permit an adjustment of forward and backward movement with respect to a frame supporting the pressure-sensitive part. The adjusting screw is rotated by engaging an engagement part, which is annexed to a coil assembly constituting a solenoid excitation part, against the adjusting screw thereby to operate the coil assembly.

A valve element disposed in the valve chamber of a control valve body of a control valve for variable capacity compressors performs opening and closing operations by a plunger. The upper end of the valve element of this control valve body is inserted in the pressure chamber, while the lower end of the valve element is inserted in the plunger chamber of the solenoid excitation part. And the plunger chamber and the pressure chamber communicate with each other through a cancel hole formed in this valve element.

A control valve for a variable capacity compressor comprising a solenoid excitation unit positioned at the center thereof, a control valve body positioned at the upper side of said solenoid excitation unit, and a pressure sensitive unit positioned below said solenoid excitation unit, wherein said control valve body comprises a valve means for opening and closing the passage between a discharge pressure region and an intermediate pressure region of said compressor, said solenoid excitation unit is equipped with a plunger that moves according to excitation, a magnetic drawer, and a bellows for operating said valve means, and said pressure sensitive unit is equipped with a pressure sensitive portion spring for operating said valve means.

A control valve for a variable capacity compressor, which comprises a solenoid magnetization portion disposed at a central portion, a main body disposed on one side of the solenoid magnetization portion, and a pressure sensitive portion disposed on the other side of the solenoid magnetization portion. The main body comprises a discharge coolant port communicating with a discharge pressure region of the variable capacity compressor, a first intermediate coolant port communicating with a first intermediate pressure region, a suction coolant port communicating with a suction pressure region, and a second intermediate coolant port communicating with a second intermediate pressure region of the variable capacity compressor.
