A vehicle window molding for covering a gap between an outer peripheral edge surface of a vehicle windowpane and a vehicle body panel includes a molding body mounted in abutment against the outer peripheral end surface of the windowpane. An engaging member extends from the molding body to engage with the windowpane on the side of passenger compartment of the vehicle body. A seal lip extends from the molding body to abut against a stepped surface of the vehicle body panel. A support lip extends toward the molding body from a part of the seal lip where the seal lip abuts against said stepped surface. An abutting member is formed at a distal end part of the support lip to press the molding body in a slidable condition. A holding member has a holding surface that abuts against the support lip to hold the abutting member in a condition in which the molding is fitted to the vehicle body.

Vehicle window molding

In this vehicle roof molding, a molding body has shelf sections formed relative to the widthwise direction so as to oppose a bottom surface of an upper wall separated by an interval, and a slide plate is movably installed so as to be able to slide along the longitudinal direction of the molding body at a location opposing an opening of the shelf sections, and slide plate has elastic sections that protrude towards the shelf sections and force the slide plate towards the upper wall by receiving a reactive force from the shelf sections. Opening can be opened and closed by sliding slide plate.

Vehicle roof molding

A window molding which is easy to install, and in the installed state remains stable and the external appearance is superior, and does not show floating or generate abnormal noise during highspeed cruising and is able to be flush-surfaced easily. The window molding is constituted by: a molding body attached along a space between a window plate and a body panel; a protruding rib protruding from the molding body towards an external surface of the window plate; a leg section extending from the molding body towards the space; a sealing lip extending from the molding body towards an external surface of a body panel; a linking lip extending from the leg section towards the space-forming surface of the body panel and linking with a tip of the sealing lip or in a vicinity of the sealing lip to form a hollow section.
