A tracker module includes an integrated circuit, a first capacitor and a second capacitor arranged in or on a module laminate. The integrated circuit includes at least one switch in a switched-capacitor circuit and at least one switch in a supply modulator. The switched-capacitor circuit is configured to generate a plurality of discrete voltages. The supply modulator is configured to generate an output voltage by selectively switching among the plurality of discrete voltages based on a control signal. The first capacitor is a flying capacitor of the switched-capacitor circuit. The second capacitor is a smoothing capacitor of the switched-capacitor circuit. In a plan view of the module laminate, the first capacitor is arranged closer to the integrated circuit than the capacitor.

Tracker module

A power amplifier circuit is provided that includes a transmission circuit, a control circuit, a first terminal, and a second terminal. The transmission circuit includes an amplifier element that amplifies power of a radio frequency signal. The control circuit controls the transmission circuit. The first terminal receives a serial data signal that is based on a serial data standard. The second terminal receives a digital signal different from the serial data signal. The control circuit then controls the transmission circuit in response to the digital signal received from the second terminal.

Power amplifier circuit, radio frequency circuit, communication device, radio frequency module, and amplification method

A radio frequency module includes a transmit filter of Band A and Band B, a transmit amplifier, and a switch circuit and can perform CA using a transmit signal of Band A and a receive signal of Band B, a transmit band of Band B including a receive band of Band C. The switch circuit includes a switch switching connection between a common terminal and a first selection terminal, a switch switching connection between the common terminal and a second selection terminal, and a switch switching connection between the second selection terminal and a third selection terminal. The common terminal is connected to the transmit amplifier. The first selection terminal is connected to the transmit filter of Band A. The second selection terminal is connected to the transmit filter of Band B. The third selection terminal is connected to a receive path of Band C.

Radio frequency module and communication device

A power amplifier circuit is capable of restraining uneven temperature distribution among a plurality of unit transistors while restraining the deterioration of the characteristics of the power amplifier circuit. The power amplifier circuit includes: a first transistor group which includes a plurality of unit transistors and which amplifies an input signal and outputs an amplified signal; a bias circuit which supplies a bias current or a bias voltage to a base or a gate of each unit transistor of the first transistor group; a plurality of first resistive elements, each of which is connected between the base or the gate of each unit transistor of the first transistor group and an output of the bias circuit; and a plurality of second resistive elements, each of which is connected between an emitter or a source of each unit transistor of the first transistor group and a reference potential.

Power amplifier circuit

The linearity of a power amplifying module employing an envelope tracking scheme is improved. The power amplifying module includes a first bipolar transistor having a base to which a first radio frequency signal is input and an emitter grounded, and a second bipolar transistor having a base to which a first constant voltage is applied, a collector to which a first power supply voltage is applied, the first power supply voltage adapted to vary in accordance with an amplitude of the first radio frequency signal, and an emitter connected to a collector of the first bipolar transistor. The second bipolar transistor is configured to output a first amplified signal, obtained by amplifying the first radio frequency signal, from the collector of the second bipolar transistor.

Power amplifying module

In a power amplifier, in response to a power mode signal at a predetermined level, a first switch circuit supplies a signal to first and second amplifier devices that perform parallel operations. In response to the power mode signal at another level, the first switch circuit supplies a signal to the first amplifier device and stops supplying the signal to the second amplifier device such that the first amplifier device performs a standalone operation. One end of an impedance adjusting circuit is connected to a connection node between the outputs of the first and second amplifier devices, the other end of the impedance adjusting circuit is connected to one end of a second switch circuit, and the other end of the second switch circuit is connected to a ground potential. The impedance adjusting circuit includes a reactance element.
