A sealing system is equipped with a dry gas seal having a rotating ring positioned between a casing and a rotor shaft and around the circumference of the rotor shaft, and stationary rings provided on the casing with elastic members interposed therebetween and so as to be capable of contacting the orthogonal edge surfaces of the rotating ring that are substantially orthogonal to the rotor shaft; a sealing gas channel having one end connected to a discharge channel, the other end connected so as to connect to a space between the casing and the outer perimeter surface of the rotating ring in the dry gas seal, and having a sealing gas regulating valve provided therein; and a drain gas channel having one end connected so as to connect to the space via a through hole formed in the casing below the rotating ring, and the other end connected to an intake channel.

Compressor employing a dry gas seal

In a capacity-adjustable screw compressor unit, a thrust force caused by a reaction force of gas can be appropriately cancelled by a balance piston. A screw compressor unit of the present invention includes a compressor, having a pair of male and female screw rotors meshing with each other contained in a casing, for compressing sucked gas and discharging it, a balance piston for pressing a rotor shaft acting as a rotating shaft of at least one of the screw rotors in an axial direction by a fluid pressure, a slide valve for adjusting capacity of the compressor, and a balance piston control device for adjusting pressure of a fluid applied on the balance piston according to the capacity of the compressor calculated from a position of the slide valve.

Screw compressor unit

A screw compressor includes a pair of male and female screw rotors which meshes with each other, where a casing storing the pair of screw rotors is divided into a discharge opening neighborhood portion including at least a discharge opening and an other portion other than the discharge opening neighborhood portion, the discharge opening neighborhood portion is configured so as to be removable from the other portion, further, the casing is divided, by two dividing surfaces orthogonal to rotor shafts, into three portions including a rotor casing around the pair of screw rotors, a discharge casing on a side of the discharge opening, and a suction casing on a side of a suction opening, and the discharge opening neighborhood portion is formed by dividing the rotor casing, and is configured so as to be removable from the dividing surface on the side of the discharge opening of a divided rotor casing. According to this configuration, the number of man-hours required for production thereof is reduced, and if operation conditions change, the size of a discharge opening can be easily changed.
