The present invention aims to provide an electrode mixture which shows little change in viscosity even after 24 hours from the preparation of the mixture and enables production of an electrode having a high electrode density and excellent flexibility and is capable of giving excellent electric properties to the resulting cell. The present invention relates to an electrode mixture including a powdery electrode material; a binder; and an organic solvent, the binder including polyvinylidene fluoride and a fluorine-containing polymer including a polymer unit based on vinylidene fluoride and a polymer unit based on tetrafluoroethylene, the fluorine-containing polymer including the polymer unit based on vinylidene fluoride in an amount of 80.0 to 90.0 mol % based on all the polymer units, the polyvinylidene fluoride having a number average molecular weight of 150,000 to 1,400,000.

The present invention relates to an electrode mixture including a powdery electrode material; a binder; and an organic solvent, the binder including a fluorine-containing polymer including a polymer unit based on vinylidene fluoride and a polymer unit based on tetrafluoroethylene, the fluorine-containing polymer including the polymer unit based on vinylidene fluoride in an amount of 80.0 to 89.0 mol % based on all the polymer units, and the organic solvent being N-methyl-2-pyrolidone and/or N,N-dimethylacetamide.

A binder, including a fluoropolymer, the fluoropolymer including a polymerization unit based on vinylidene fluoride and a polymerization unit based on a monomer having an amide group represented by &#x2014;CO&#x2014;NRR' (R and R&#x2032; are the same as or different from each other and each represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group optionally having a substituent group) or an amide bond represented by &#x2014;CO&#x2014;NR&#x2033;&#x2014; (R&#x2033; represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group optionally having a substituent group, or a phenyl group optionally having a substituent group) and having a solution viscosity of 10 to 20,000 mPa&#xb7;s. The present invention provides a solvent for a nonaqueous electrolyte solution enabling a lithium secondary battery to exhibit an excellent discharge capacity, load characteristics, and cycle characteristics even under high voltages, as well as a nonaqueous electrolyte solution that uses this solvent and a lithium secondary battery. This solvent for a nonaqueous electrolyte solution is a solvent for a nonaqueous electrolyte solution for a lithium secondary battery, wherein the solvent for a nonaqueous electrolyte solution contains a fluorine-free cyclic carbonate (I), a fluorine-free chain carbonate (II), and a 1,1-di(fluorinated alkyl)ethylene carbonate (III), and wherein with a sum of (I), (II), and (III) being 100 volume %, the fluorine-free cyclic carbonate (I) is 10 to 50 volume %, the fluorine-free chain carbonate (II) is 49.9 to 89.9 volume %, and the 1,1-di(fluorinated alkyl)ethylene carbonate (III) is from at least 0.1 volume % to not more than 30 volume %.

Solvent for nonaqueous electrolyte solution of lithium secondary battery

The present invention provides a novel fluorine-containing rubber composite material having both of excellent fuel impermeability and excellent cold resistance, a fuel impermeable sealing material comprising the composite material and a process for preparing the composite material. The fluorine-containing rubber composite material comprises crosslinked particles of fluorine-containing silicone rubber dispersed in a fluorine-containing rubber. It is preferable that the fluorine-containing rubber comprises a vinylidene fluoride/tetrafluoroethylene/perfluoro vinyl ether copolymer, and the composite material has cold resistance of not more than &#x2212;35&#xb0; C. and fuel permeability of not more than 500 g&#xb7;mm/m&#xb7;day. The fuel impermeable sealing material comprises the composite material. The process for preparing the composite material comprises a step for co-coagulation of a fluorine-containing rubber emulsion and an emulsion of crosslinked fluorine-containing silicone rubber.
