The present invention provides a dental implant that can deal with a subsequent reduction in bone mass while reducing a burden on a patient, and a set thereof. The present invention is directed to a dental implant comprising: a first stage implantthat has a bottomed tubular shape, a male threadformed on an outer periphery thereof, and a female threadformed in an inner periphery thereof; and a second stage implantthat has a tip parthaving a male threadthreadably engaged with the female threadof the first stage implantand a rear end partto which an upper prosthesis is to be attached via an abutmentwherein the female threadof the first stage implantand the male threadof the second stage implantare tapered threads.
