A technique related to a bonded semiconductor substrate capable of reducing an interface resistance is provided. The semiconductor substrate comprises a single-crystalline SiC substrate and a polycrystalline SiC substrate. The single-crystalline SIC substrate and the polycrystalline SiC substrate are bonded. A bonded region of the single-crystalline SiC substrate and the polycrystalline SiC substrate contains 1&#xd7;10(atoms/cm) or more of particular atoms.

Disclosed is a curable coating agent composition which exhibits excellent wear resistance and weather resistance when applied as a coating agent to plastic or other substrates to be used outdoors. A member for vehicle according to the present invention is equipped with a resinous substrate, and a protective film being formed on a surface of the resinous substrate partially at least. A resin board that consists of at least one of a mixture of a plurality of types of resins having different degrees of susceptibility to erosion by an ozone solution, and a resin having, in a molecule, a plurality of types of components having different degrees of susceptibility to erosion by the ozone solution is treated with ozone water to form a reformed layer, and a catalyst metal is adsorbed by the reformed layer so as to form a resin-metal composite layer, on which a plating process is performed. In the resin board, a component or components that is/are likely to be eroded on by the ozone solution dissolves into the ozone solution, and pores or clearances on the order of nanometers are formed between the component(s) and a component or components that is/are less likely to be eroded by the ozone solution. With the plating deposited in the pores or clearances, the adhesion strength is improved due to an anchoring effect. Thus, the adhesion strength of the plating film is improved even where the resin-metal composite layer has a thickness of 10 to 200 nm.

Actinic-light-curable composition, molded polycarbonate resin object with a cured film, and manufacturing method therefor

Disclosed is a vehicle member that includes a molded body and a protective film disposed on a surface of the molded body and formed by curing of an active energy ray-curing composition. The active energy ray-curing composition contains an active energy ray-curing prepolymer (A) obtainable by a reaction of an acrylic-based prepolymer having a hydroxyl group and an acrylic monomer (a4) having an isocyanate group, an active energy ray-curing compound (B) having a benzotriazole group, another active energy ray-curing compound (C) differing from the (A) component and the (B) component, and inorganic oxide particles (D). The acrylic-based prepolymer having the hydroxyl group is a copolymer that includes an acrylic monomer (a1) having a piperidinyl group, an acrylic monomer (a2) having a hydroxyl group, etc., as monomer units.

Vehicle member and manufacturing method therefor

A curing-type coating-agent composition according to the present invention contains: Component (A) including a urethane adduct compound exhibiting weatherability in an amount of from 99 to 65 parts by mass; Component (B) comprising a reaction product between a colloidal silica and an alkoxysilane compound having a maleimide group in an amount of from 1 to 35 parts by mass; a radical-polymerization initiator serving as Component (C) in an amount of from 0.1 to 10 parts by mass; an ultraviolet absorber serving as Component (D) in an amount of from 1 to 12 parts by mass; and an organic solvent serving as Component (E) in an amount of from 10 to 1,000 parts by mass; with respect to a sum of Component (A) and Component (B) being taken as 100 parts by mass.
