A hood lock apparatus includes: a primary lock portion holding a hood in a fully closed state; and a secondary lock portion holding the hood in a half open state and including a catcher attached to a vehicle body, a base attached to the hood, and a latch supported on the base, rotatable between a latching position and an unlatching position and including a hook portion locking the catcher when the hood is opened to the half open state with the latch being at the latching position, an operating portion operating the latch to rotate toward the unlatching position, and an abutment portion abutting the catcher when the hood is fully closed state with the latch being at the unlatching position. The latch is rotated to the latching position by the abutment of the abutment portion with the catcher.

Hood lock apparatus

A hood lock apparatus includes a base plate having a striker groove into which a striker enters in response to a closing operation of a hood, a latch locking the striker entered into the striker groove, a locking plate locking the latch that locks the striker, a rattle lever supporting the striker locked by the latch with the latch, and a rattle spring biasing the rattle lever holding the striker with the latch towards the striker. The rattle spring is disposed to straddle a first center line passing through a rotational shaft of the rattle lever and extending in a direction at right angles to a direction in which the striker groove extends.

A door check link apparatus includes a check link formed by molding a synthetic resin on a surface of a core plate, and including a full open stopper including a projecting portion located at a tip end portion of the core plate, and having a width larger than a width of a detent surface, a bending piece formed at a first end portion of the projecting portion, and having a stopper surface confronting the stopper receiving surface, and a protruding portion formed on the projecting portion at a position farther apart from the stopper receiving surface relative to the stopper surface, and protruding in a direction substantially parallel to the stopper receiving surface, the full open stopper being formed by molding the synthetic resin on the tip end portion of the core plate including the projecting portion, the bending piece, and the protruding portion.
