A shock-absorbing member wherein a columnar shaped-wood member is supported by a stopper bolt (a pressure-receiving member) at its axially one end side and is configured such that an impact load is applied to its axially other end side, and wherein the wood member is axially collapsed by the impact load applied thereto, thereby absorbing a portion of the impact load, and that may include a shaft (a reinforcement member) that extends in a direction intersecting with an axis of the wood member while being embedded in the wood member, so as to reinforce the wood member.

A capacitor includes a capacitor element, a case housing the capacitor element, a filling resin filled in the case, and a board holder including a fixing part to which a circuit board mounted with an electronic circuit is to be fixed. The board holder is configured to hold the circuit board to be exposed from the filling resin.

A capacitor includes a capacitor element, an electrode disposed on an end face of the capacitor element, a bus bar connected to the electrode, and a case housing the capacitor element. The bus bar is extended from an opening of the case to outside the case. Outside the case, the bus bar includes an extension part and a connection terminal. The extension part extends in a first direction along a side face of the case. The connection terminal is connected to the extension part. Further, the case includes a supporting part disposed on the side face of the case. The supporting part supports the bus bar to form a space between the side face and the extension part.

A shock absorbing member includes an outer member being hollow and made of a metal, and an inner member held in the outer member. The inner member includes a wood member and a bracket that is made of a solid resin or a metal and that is integral with the wood member. The inner member includes a holding structure configured to position and hold the bracket to the outer member.

A method for manufacturing a capacitor includes a step of forming a case integrated with a terminal unit designed to be connected with an external terminal, and a step of housing a capacitor element in the case so that the terminal unit is electrically connected to the capacitor element. The step of forming the case includes heating a metal mold to a temperature less than or equal to a glass transition temperature of a thermoplastic resin that is a material for the case. The metal mold internally has a mold part that is a hollow part having a shape of the case. And the step of forming the case further includes, after the heating of the metal mold and inserting the terminal unit into the mold part, injecting the thermoplastic resin in a molten state into the mold part of the metal mold.

Method for manufacturing capacitor

A vehicle member comprises a wooden member and a resin cover member integrally covering the wooden member. The vehicle member absorbs or transmits a received load. The cover member integrally includes a load acting portion and an attaching portion. The wooden member is positioned in the vehicle member so that a shaft center direction of annual rings is aligned with an input direction of the load. The attaching portion is attachable to an attached member of a vehicle.

A vehicular shock-absorbing member may include a pair of upper and lower supporting wood members configured such that outer surfaces thereof function as load input surfaces in which a collision load is received and that axes of annual rings thereof extend along the load input surfaces, and shock-absorbing wood member sandwiched between the supporting wood members in such a manner that an axis of annual rings thereof extends in a direction perpendicular to the load input surfaces of the supporting wood members. The shock-absorbing wood member is configured such that a load input surface thereof in which the collision load is received is displaced inward relative to the load input surfaces of the supporting wood members.

In film surfaces of first and second films, an orientation angle &#x3b1; of first film and an orientation angle &#x3b2; of second film are different in sign from each other when a sign of the orientation angle which represents rotation from reference direction RD to one of both end surfaces is defined to be positive, and the sign of the orientation angle which represents rotation from reference direction RD to another of both end surfaces is defined to be negative. Here, the orientation angle is defined by an acute angle between an orientation main axis MA between reference direction RD parallel to first and second end surfaces when portions of first and second films facing each other through second metal layer are viewed in a direction perpendicular to the film surfaces.

A rear bus bar includes a rear electrode connecting part connected to an upper end electrode of a capacitor element, and a rear overlapping part is led out upward from a rear electrode connecting part at a position overlapping with the upper end electrode. A front bus bar includes a front electrode connecting part connected to a lower end electrode of the capacitor element, a first relay part, and a second relay part extending along the upper end electrode, and a front overlapping part is led out upward from the second relay part. An insulation module includes a first insulating part interposed between the front overlapping part and the rear overlapping part, and a second insulating part interposed between the upper end electrode and the second relay part.

A vehicular impact-absorbing member may include a wood member having a first pair of opposite surfaces perpendicular to an axis direction of annual rings thereof and a second pair of opposite surfaces parallel to the axis direction of the annual rings thereof, a pair of restraint members respectively positioned on the second pair of opposite surfaces of the wood member, and connecting members connecting the pair of restraint members to each other with the wood member sandwiched between the pair of restraint members.

The present disclosure provides a bumper reinforcement including: a bumper main body portion extending in a vehicle transverse direction and is provided at a vehicle longitudinal direction outer side of a pair of left and right side members, the pair of left and right side members being disposed at a vehicle front portion or a vehicle rear portion and extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction; and a reinforcing member formed of wood and is block-shaped, and that is disposed within a cross-section of at least a vehicle transverse direction central portion of the bumper main body portion, an axially central direction of annual growth rings of the wood of the reinforcing member being set to a direction that runs along the vehicle transverse direction.

A film capacitor includes: a capacitor element in which a metallikon electrode is formed at an end; a bus bar connected to the metallikon electrode; and a holding member having a slit into which the bus bar is inserted, the slit being formed with protrusions. The bus bar inserted into the slit is press-contacted with the protrusions, and as a result, the bus bar is held by the holding member. With this configuration, relative mounting accuracy (positioning accuracy) of positive and negative electrode bus bars is improved, and further, the bus bars can be easily connected to the capacitor elements.
