A supercharged engine includes an emission control device configured to add a reduction agent to exhaust gas from an engine main body to reduce nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas by a catalyst, the supercharged engine including an air release valve configured to discharge a part of supplied air to be supplied from a supercharger to the engine main body through an air feed pipe to the outside of the air feed pipe, and a control device configured to control temperature of the exhaust gas by operating the air release valve and adjusting an amount of supply of the supplied air to be supplied from the supercharger to the engine main body.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide an exhaust purifier which suppresses unnecessary consumption of pressurization air so as to improve a removal rate of dust. An exhaust purifier for removing particulate matter adhered to a NOx catalyst by injecting pressurized air using an air injection nozzle into a housing of a catalyst reactor in which the NOx catalyst serving as a catalyst is positioned, wherein an injection valve of a soot blower supplying pressurized air into the housing of the catalyst reactor is opened and closed based on an exhaust gas flow rate so as to inject the pressurized air.

Exhaust purifier

An exhaust gas purification deviceis equipped with a plurality of branch exhaust passagesand; a junction exhaust passage; a shutoff valveswitching between allowing and shutting off the flow of exhaust gas to the respective branch exhaust passagesand; a nitrogen oxide adsorbing materialtemporarily adsorbing nitrogen oxides in an excess air atmosphere and detaching the adsorbed nitrogen oxides in a reducing atmosphere and reducing the nitrogen oxides in the reducing atmosphere to produce ammonia; a first combustion device, disposed on the exhaust upstream side of the nitrogen oxide adsorbing materialand having an air supply unit, changing the air supplied from the air supply unit into the reducing atmosphere; and a selective reduction catalyst, provided inside the junction exhaust passage, selectively reducing the nitrogen oxides by using ammonia as a reducing agent.
