An endoscopic treatment device includes a clip unit having a first arm and a second arm connected with each other; a power transmission member; an applicator connected with the clip unit; an engaging portion provided in one of the proximal end portion or the power transmission member; and an engaged portion provided in the other of the proximal end portion or the power transmission member without the engaging portion, wherein the engaging portion includes a hook portion entering the engaged portion so as to be engageable with the engaged portion; a support portion continuing with the hook portion; and a protrusion portion having a dimension so as to be impossible to enter the engaged portion, and at least one of the hook portion and the support portion is deformed to release the engagement between the engaging portion and the engaged portion.

Endoscopic treatment device

A medical device that includes a clip unit; an operation wire for operating the clip unit; a link capable of linking the clip unit and the operation wire such that the clip unit is engaged with the operation wire; and a sheath. The link can be moved to release an engagement between the operation wire and the clip unit.

Medical device and method of releasing clip unit

A ligation device that includes a clip device including an openable arm, a connector connected to the clip device and is able to be released from the connector, a wire connected to the connector and configured to operate the clip device, and a pipe including an opening into which the wire is inserted. An inner diameter of the opening is smaller than a dimension in a diameter direction of the connector in a first state in which the connector and the clip device are connected with each other, and the inner diameter of the opening decreases towards a proximal end side of the pipe and is larger than the dimension of the connector in a second state in which the connector and the clip device are unconnected with each other.

A clip device includes a clip, including a plurality of arms having sliding grooves; and an intermediate member inserted into the sliding grooves for connecting the plurality of arms; a pressing tube accommodating a proximal end portion of the clip; a connection member connecting with an operation wire at a proximal end side and including an engaging portion engaging with the intermediate member; and a locking mechanism for lock the plurality of arms when the clip is pulled toward the proximal end side by a predetermined distance by the connection member, wherein the clip includes a contact portion formed on a side surface of the arm to be in contact with the engaging portion from a direction orthogonal to an axial direction of the intermediate portion for preventing a deformation of the engaging portion when the intermediate portion slides along the sliding groove before the plurality of arms are locked.

A medical device, a clip unit, and a method for indwelling a clip unit. The medical device includes a treatment portion, an operation wire that can operate the treatment portion, and a link that can releasably connect the treatment portion and the operation wire. The link includes a hook that includes first and second deformation portions, and a base that can be releasably coupled to the hook. The first deformation portion is capable of being deformed by movement of the operation wire, and the second deformation portion is capable of being deformed by further movement of the operation portion after the first deformation portion is deformed.

Medical device, applicator, and clip unit

Provided is a manipulator including: a movable part; a drive unit generating power; an elongated flexible long guide member to which the part is attached at one end thereof and the drive unit is attached at the other end thereof; an elongated tension transmission member passing through a lumen in the long guide member and transmitting the power of the drive unit to the part by means of a tension; a tension adjusting mechanism adjusting the tension of the tension transmission member; and a holding unit to which the drive unit is detachably attached. The mechanism includes: a tensioner, provided in a movable manner in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the tension transmission member, that pulls the tension transmission member; and a pressing member, provided in the holding unit, that moves the tensioner in a state in which the drive unit has been attached to the holding unit.

Medical master-slave manipulator system

The disclosed technology is directed to a medical instrument comprises a first pulley configured to be rotatable about a rotational shaft. A transmitting member having a first end portion and a second end portion. The first end portion is disposed along an outer circumferential surface of the first pulley and the second end portion extends tangentially to the first pulley and away from the first pulley. The transmitting member being capable of rotating the first pulley upon being actuated to move forwardly or rearwardly in longitudinal directions thereof. A dislodgement guard is disposed on at least one side of the first pulley along a direction in which the rotational shaft extends with respect to the second end portion of the transmitting member for preventing the transmitting member from being dislodged off the first pulley.

Medical instrument

A manipulator including: an end effector movable about a joint; a motor configured to generate force so as to move the end effector; a wire for transmitting the force from the motor to the end effector; a guide member connected between the end effector and motor. The guide member including: a guide tube comprising at least one lumen extended in a longitudinal direction, the lumen configured to guide the wire; and an outer sheath configured to cover the guide tube in a longitudinal direction and to move relative to the motor in the longitudinal direction, the outer sheath having a rigidity higher than the guide tube. The manipulator further including an adjusting mechanism configured to adjust a position of the proximal end section of the outer sheath relative to the motor in the longitudinal direction of the guide tube so as to adjust a tensile-force generated on the wire.

Provided is a flexible-manipulator sheath including: a flexible inner tube having a lumen along a longitudinal direction thereof, the lumen configured to insert a wire; a flexible outer tube disposed to cover an outer circumferential surface of the inner tube, the outer tube having a higher compression stiffness than the inner tube; and a cushioning disposed at a space between an inner surface of the outer tube and an outer surface of the inner tube, wherein the cushioning is formed by at least one of filling the space with a viscous material and disposing an elastic sheet at the space.

Flexible-manipulator sheath and manipulator

In a medical manipulator, the surgical tool drive unit includes: a pair of input members that has a first input member and a second input member, are arranged in a pair at a first end portion in an attachment and detachment direction with respect to the surgical tool unit, are capable of advancing and retracting parallel to each other, and transmit the driving force in an advance direction when the pair of input members are advanced to the surgical tool unit side; and a drive source that causes at least one of the pair of input members to advance and retract.

A medical instrument according to the present invention includes an end effector that fulfills a predetermined function, a motor unit that generates power for driving the end effector, a transmission member that is connected to the end effector and the motor unit so as to transmit the power to the end effector, a tension holding portion that has a tension generation portion and a tension pulley which is connected to the tension generation portion and which comes into contact with the transmission member the tension pulley being configured to move such that tension applied to the transmission member in a predetermined magnitude, and a switch that can fix a position of the tension pulley.

A surgical tool includes: a treatment section that treats an object to be treated; a power source that generates a power to operate the treatment section; a traction section connected to the treatment section and the power source; a switching section that switches a transmission state of the power from the power source to the traction section between a state in which the power can be transmitted and a state in which the power cannot be transmitted; and a tension-applying section that has a pulley and applies a predetermined initial tension to the traction section by applying a power to the pulley in the state in which the power cannot be transmitted, wherein the traction section is hung on the pulley via the power source from the treatment section and is connected to the treatment section via the power source.
