A lever type connector in which a connector holder is reliably fit into a receptacle holder to prevent a half-fitting is provided. In the lever type connector, a restricting recess is provided on the front side of an arm plate of a lever, and below a multiple force recess. When a connector holder is inserted into the receptacle, a rear surface of the restricting recess abuts to a rear surface of a receiving portion to restrict rotation of the lever. Then, when the connector holder is pushed down to the standby position where the receiving portion is inserted into the multiple force recess, the restricting recess is away from the rear surface of the receiving portion, so that restriction of rotation of the lever is cancelled.

A lever connector is provided where fitting of a connector holder is reliably performed by rotation of a lever, so that workability is excellent. In a connector holder, a provisionally-retaining clawis provided to be elastically held by a first retaining portionat a predetermined rotating position in order to restrict rotation of the lever. In a receptacle connector, a pressing projectionis provided to move the provisionally-retaining clawto a retracted position where the provisionally-retaining clawis not held by the leverin a state that the connector holderis at a standby position, so that restriction of rotation of the leveris cancelled. On the other hand, an abutting surface of the first retaining positionof the leveris of a mountain-like shape including a restricting surfaceand a guiding surface

Lever type connector

An anchor device for an optical cable comprises an anchor clamp for anchoring an optical cable, which is extended along power transmission lines stretched between iron towers, to an iron tower associated therewith, and a semiconductive ring having a predetermined volume resistivity and having a rounded external shape. The semiconductive ring is fixed on the outer peripheral surface of the optical cable in contact with an end of a reinforcing rod of the anchor clamp opposite the tower. By attaching the semiconductive ring, it is possible to lessen the intensity of the electric field of the power transmission lines in the vicinity of that end of the anchor clamp. Even in the case where the outer peripheral surface of the optical cable comes to have electrical conductivity with use for a long term, dry band arcing due to the electric field around the outer peripheral surface of the optical cable is reduced or prevented, thereby preventing the optical cable from being deteriorated in electrical insulation performance or being burned.
