Disclosed is a method for producing an antibody reagent for detecting a test substance in a sample by an immune complex transfer method. The method comprises the steps of: bringing an antibody solution comprising a labeled antibody capable of binding to the test substance into contact with a solid phase used in the immune complex transfer method; and separating the solid phase and the antibody solution to prepare the antibody reagent from the antibody solution.

Provided is a method for detecting a test substance, the method including the steps of: forming an immune complex on a first solid phase by bringing a test substance, a labeled antibody, a capture antibody and the first solid phase into contact with one another; transferring the immune complex onto a second solid phase by breaking the binding between the capture antibody and the first solid phase to liberate the immune complex, and bringing the second solid phase and the immune complex into contact with each other, where the second solid phase is bound to the capture antibody; and detecting the test substance by measuring a label contained in the complex on the second solid phase. The test substance detected by the method is a multimeric antigen, particularly amyloid &#x3b2; or tau protein.

Disclosed is a method for obtaining information of a test substance, the method including: forming a complex by causing a capture substance to bind to a test substance in a specimen; selectively collecting at least the complex from the specimen; immobilizing the complex collected from the specimen, onto a base plate; and obtaining information regarding a structure of the test substance from the complex immobilized on the base plate.
