A stator includes a stator core, stator windings provided in the stator core, and a busbar connected to coil end portions of the stator windings. The busbar is composed of a flat conductor body and has a main body portion extended in a circumferential direction in parallel to a circumference of the stator core and multiple protruding portions extended radially from the main body portion. The protruding portions and the coil end portions are joined by laser welding. A thickness of each of the protruding portions in a laser beam emitting direction in which a welded portion is irradiated with a laser beam during the laser welding is greater than a plate thickness of the main body portion in the same direction.

Stator

A step of inserting an insulating paper into a slot of a stator core (second step) is performed, a step of placing a jig at a position that is on a side opposite to a side from which a segment coil is inserted into the slot of the stator core and that overlaps with a protrusion when viewed in an inserting direction of the segment coil (third step) is performed, and then a step of inserting the segment coil into the slot (fourth step) is performed. Therefore, even when the insulating paper is dragged by the segment coil in the process of inserting the segment coil into the slot, the insulating paper abuts the jig and the movement of the insulating paper is restricted, thereby suppressing displacement of the insulating paper from the slot.

Manufacturing method of stator for vehicle rotary electric machine

A stator for a rotating electric machine includes an annular stator core and a stator coil. The stator core has a plurality of slots arranged in a circumferential direction thereof. The stator coil is formed of a plurality of electric conductor segments mounted on the stator core. Each of the electric conductor segments has a pair of in-slot portions and a turn portion. Each of the pair of in-slot portions is inserted in a corresponding one of the slots of the stator core. The turn portion is located on one axial side of the stator core and connects the pair of in-slot portions. Moreover, for each of the electric conductor segments, at least one of the pair of in-slot portions of the electric conductor segment includes a protruding part that protrudes in the circumferential direction of the stator core.

Stator for rotating electric machine

A stator includes an annular stator core and a multi-phase stator coil. The stator core has slots arranged in a circumferential direction thereof. The stator coil is comprised of phase windings that are mounted on the stator core so as to be received in the slots of the stator core. The stator coil has an annular coil end part protruding axially outward from an axial end face of the stator core. The stator coil includes, at least, two lead wires and a joint. Each of the lead wires is connected with one of the phase windings of the stator coil and led out from a radially inner periphery of the coil end part. At the joint, distal ends of the lead wires are joined to each other. Adjoining portions of the lead wires, which adjoin each other, are arranged radially inside a radially-inner peripheral surface of the coil end part.

A rotating electric machine includes a rotor, a stator, a temperature detecting element, and a cooling apparatus. The stator includes a stator core that is disposed so as to oppose the rotor in a radial direction of the rotating electric machine, and a stator winding that is wound around the stator core. The temperature detecting element is set in the stator winding. The cooling apparatus drips a liquid coolant onto coil end portions of the stator winding, thereby performing cooling. The stator winding has a plurality of input and output lines that are electrically connected to an external apparatus. At least one input or output line among the plurality of input and output lines is disposed vertically above the temperature detecting element.

A seat belt tensioner includes a wire, a spring retainer connected to a seat belt buckle by the wire, a casing within which the spring retainer is linearly movable, a primary coil spring contacting the spring retainer, a leaf spring for limiting movement of the spring retainer, a secondary coil spring, and a mass body supported relative to the spring retainer through the secondary coil spring in the direction in which an inertial force is applied. The mass body is moved against the action of the secondary coil spring when a predetermined deceleration is applied, the mass body slides and the primary coil spring is released.

A tensioning device is provided to realize compactness and simplification of device structure and causes mountability to be improved. A tensioning mechanism to rapidly tension one end of an interconnecting member when deceleration of a vehicle is applied, a reversing-prevention hook plate supported rotatably freely on an arm plate, a buckle joined freely rotatably at a position most proximate to a seat belt in a direction of tension action of the seat belt within a plate surface of the reversing-prevention hook plate, and a reversing-prevention claw to restrict reverse rotation of the reversing-prevention hook plate after the interconnecting member has been pulled out are provided, and a base end of the foregoing arm plate is joined freely rotatably to a frame member. During tensioning operation, the arm plate rotates in the direction of tensioning of the interconnecting member, and along with this the reversing-prevention hook plate rotates in a direction opposite the direction of rotation of the arm plate while pulling out the interconnecting member.

Seat belt tensioning device

A vehicular automatic transmission (AT) hydraulic controller has an integrated valve. The integrated valve has a cylindrical cam shaft including convex and concave parts on the outer periphery thereof, and the integrated valve is connected to a motor for automatic control and a connecting part which is interlocked with an external gearshift operated by a driver. Hydraulic control of the integrated valve can be performed in two different ways, i.e., automatic control and manual control, and even if automatic control malfunctions due to an error, manual control can maintain the control of the AT and avoid any inconvenience. The structure of this integrated valve provides a high degree of design freedom and can implement a wide variety of AT functions. Accordingly, a light, compact and reliable AT equipped with both an automatic control mechanism and a manual control mechanism can be provided.

A brake control system for effectively properly performing a braking hydraulic pressure distribution between a front wheel and a rear wheel or a left wheel and a right wheel of a motor vehicle including a master cylinder for generating a hydraulic pressure in response to depression of a brake pedal thereof and applying the hydraulic pressure through first and second braking passages to first and second wheel braking cylinders. This brake control system has first and second pressure control devices respectively coupled to a braking pressure source for allowing the output hydraulic pressures to be regulated independently of each other under control of a control unit. The output of the first pressure control device is coupled through the first braking passage to the first wheel braking cylinder and the output of the second pressure control device is coupled through the second braking passage to the second wheel braking cylinder. The control unit determines first and second target braking pressures to the first and second wheel braking cylinders on the basis of the hydraulic pressure in the master cylinder. The determined first and second target braking pressures are respectively corrected on the basis of the vehicle acceleration and wheel slip ratios.

When excessive acceleration slip of a driving wheel is detected by wheel speed sensors attached to driving and non-driving wheels, an electronic control unit provides first and second control signals to a change-over valve and a control valve, respectively. The change-over valve operates in accordance with the first control signal to supply hydraulic pressure from a hydraulic pump to control a cut-off valve to thereby cut off communication between a master cylinder and a wheel cylinder. At the same time, hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic pump is fed to the wheel cylinder through the change-over valve and the control valve to brake the driving wheel. The control valve operates in accordance with the second control signal to increase or decrease the pressure in the wheel cylinder thereby adjusting the braking force for the driving wheel.

Vehicular drive control system

A rotary piston vacuum pump has a rotor eccentrically disposed in a cylinder and mounted therein for revolution in rolling contact with the cylindrical inner peripheral surface of the cylinder so that a crescent-shaped space is defined between the rotor and the cylinder and moved around the axis of the cylinder. A vane is radially reciprocally mounted in a vane chamber having an inner end open to the cylindrical inner peripheral surface of the cylinder. The vane has an inner end in sliding contact with the outer peripheral surface of the rotor to divide the crescent-shaped space into a suction chamber in communication with a suction port and a discharge port to be communicated with a discharge port having an inner end open in a wall of an outer part of the vane chamber. The rate of communication between the discharge port and the discharge chamber through the outer vane chamber part is varied by the reciprocal movement of the vane so that the communication is interrupted at least when the point of contact between the rotor and the cylinder inner peripheral surface reaches the vane.

A pump apparatus comprises a pump housing, an impeller having a plurality of radial grooves rotatably disposed within the pump housing, first and second fluid passages each defined by the impeller and the pump housing at both sides of the impeller, a motor having an output shaft for driving the impeller, a first radial clearance between the impeller and the output shaft of the motor, and a second radial clearance between an outer peripheral surface of the impeller and the pump housing, which is smaller than the first clearance.

A floating plate is provided in a cylinder chamber and slides freely like a piston. A first group of laminated, ring-shaped, thin-plate piezoelectric elements is provided between a fixed support member provided on part of a wall portion of this cylinder chamber and the floating plate. A second group of laminated, cylindrical, thin-plate piezoelectric elements is provided in the center of the first group and a working member is provided on the free end of the second group of elements that is not attached to the floating plate. A hydraulic chamber is formed in the cylinder chamber on the side of the floating plate opposite to the side on which the first and second groups of elements are provided, and the pressure in this hydraulic chamber pushes the floating plate in the direction of the fixed support member. Voltage is applied to the first and second groups of elements to expand and contract them thereby varying the distance between the floating plate and the fixed support member and varying the distance between the floating plate and the working member.

Piezoelectric servomechanism apparatus

A piston in a first cylinder is driven as a piezoelectric element group, which includes a plurality of laminar piezoelectric elements stacked in layers, extends or contracts. A second cylinder is formed so as to connect with a first fluid pressure chamber which is defined in the first cylinder by the piston. A piston-shaped valve member is disposed in the second cylinder. The valve member is urged toward the first fluid pressure chamber by a spring. The first fluid pressure chamber is supplied with a fluid whose pressure is set by means of a selector valve. When the selector valve is closed, the fluid pressure chamber is defined as an independent compartment. In this state, high voltage is applied to the piezoelectric element group to elongate it, thereby driving the piston. Thus, the valve member is actuated by the fluid pressure inside the first fluid pressure chamber, and a fluid passage is opened and closed by the valve member.
