A wireless signal processing circuit includes plural phase switchers, plural variable amplifiers and plural mixers. The plural phase switchers are provided on each of plural paths along which all in-phase signal and a quadrature signal are distributed. The plural phase switchers rotate the phases of the signals by signal phase rotation amounts according to a transmission direction of a transmission signal. The plural variable amplifiers alter amplitudes of input signals or output signals of the corresponding phase switchers in accordance with the transmission direction of the transmission signal. The plural mixers up-convert frequencies of the signals processed by the corresponding phase switchers and variable amplifiers.

Wireless signal processing circuit and wireless device

A wireless device includes a phase control circuit and an antenna element. The phase control circuit configured to control each of phases frequencies of the plurality of transmission signals according to a transmission direction of which each the plurality of transmission signals is output, up-convert each frequencies of the plurality of transmission signals of which the phase is controlled. The antenna element configured to radiate a signal obtained by combining the upconverted plurality of transmission signals.

An antenna device includes: a first variable phase amplifier that outputs a first signal to a first transmission line without outputting a second signal to a second transmission line; a second variable phase amplifier that outputs a fourth signal to a fourth transmission line without outputting a third signal to a third transmission line; a phase comparator that acquires a first reflected signal that is obtained by reflecting the first signal by a first antenna element from the second transmission line, acquires a second reflected signal that is obtained by reflecting the fourth signal by a second antenna element from the third transmission line, and detects a phase difference between the first and the second antenna elements based on the first and the second reflected signals; and a phase amplitude controller that calibrates a phase between the first and the second antenna elements based on the detected phase difference.

Antenna device and calibration method

A beam forming device includes a plurality of control circuits and a plurality of antenna elements. Each of the plurality of control circuits controls at least either phases or amplitudes of a plurality of input signals to generate a transmission signal. Each of the plurality of antenna elements outputs the transmission signal generated by a corresponding control circuit. A frequency range of the transmission signal generated by each of the control circuits is higher than frequency ranges of the input signals.

A variable attenuation device includes: a first variable attenuator configured to receive a first signal through a first input end, attenuate the first signal by an amount of attenuation according to a control voltage, and output the attenuated first signal through a first output end, the first signal being one of a pair of differential signals having a 180-degree phase difference; a second variable attenuator configured to receive a second signal through a second input end, attenuate the second signal by the amount of attenuation according to the control voltage, and output the attenuated second signal through a second output end, the second signal being the other one of the pair of differential signals; a first signal distributer configured to distribute the second signal to the first output end; and a second signal distributer configured to distribute the first signal to the second output end.

There is provided a phase-switch-equipped variable amplification device including a switch including one input port and two output ports and configured to output a single-ended signal input to the one input port into one of the two output ports, a first converter coupled to the two output ports of the switch and configured to convert the single-ended signal output from the switch into a pair of differential signals having phases different from each other by 180-degree and invert phases of the pair of differential signals in response to a switching operation at the switch, a variable amplifier configured to amplify the pair of differential signals in accordance with a control voltage, and a second converter configured to convert the pair of differential signals amplified by the variable amplifier into a single-ended signal.

Phase-switch-equipped variable amplification device and phase shifter

A wireless device includes a plurality of antenna and a plurality of wireless modules that transmit or receive signals via the plurality of antennas. Each of the plurality of wireless modules includes: a generator that generates a high-frequency signal; and a high-frequency circuit that transmits or receives, based on the generated high-frequency signal, a signal via at least one of the plurality of antennas. The wireless device further includes a controller. The controller obtains, each time the plurality of wireless modules start generation of a plurality of the high-frequency signals, a difference of phases of the plurality of high-frequency signals, and controls, based on the obtained difference, at least one phase of a plurality of signals to be transmitted or received by the plurality of wireless modules.

A phase adjustment device includes: a detection signal generator configured to generate a pair of first and second detection signals for detecting a phase difference between two signals whose phases have been adjusted by two phase adjusters, respectively, a maximum sensitivity phase difference of one of the first and second detection signals being not overlap with that of the other, and detection sensitivity of the phase difference becoming maximum at the maximum sensitivity phase difference; a detection signal selector configured to select one of the first and second detection signals whose predetermined range around the maximum sensitivity phase difference covers a preset phase difference; and a phase controller configured to control an amount of phase-adjusting by at least one of the two phase adjusters based on a difference between the phase difference detected within the predetermined range using the selected detection signal and the preset phase difference.

A waveguide converter includes a waveguide including a hollow section through which a signal is transmitted and a first opening formed on a cross section of the hollow section in a direction orthogonal to a transmission direction of the signal, and a circuit board including on a same surface a signal line, a conductor patch connected to the signal line, and a second opening surrounding the conductor patch. The waveguide is fixed onto the circuit board. The first opening surrounds the second opening. The conductor patch includes a rectangular section which has short sides in parallel with short sides of the first opening, and has a first long side and a second long side connected to the signal line in parallel with long sides of the first opening, and protruding portions which are provided so as to touch the short sides near both ends of the second long side, respectively.
