A flexible hose having air-permeability is formed by either: sandwiching an air-permeable tape between tape end edge portions, as leading and trailing in a hose longitudinal direction, of a soft resin tape that is helically wound integrally with the air-permeable tape; or by helically winding only an air-permeable tape. The flexible hose can be properly used as a cleaner hose of a discharge circulation type by using it as an outer tube of a double tube structure. By providing lubricating properties to an inner circumference of the outer tube or an outer circumference of the inner tube, it is possible to prevent wear which might otherwise be caused by rubbing contact between the inner tube and outer tube.

A pipe-end-connecting joint comprisse a nipple inserted in the pipe end, a holder for tightening the outer circumference of the pipe end, and an elastic packing 3 divided into half parts and attached in the holder . The nipple includes a tubular portion 11 provided in one longitudinal end side thereof so as to be inserted in the pipe end, a connection portion provided in the other longitudinal end side thereof so as to be connected to another joint, and a flange portion provided in a longitudinal intermediate portion thereof so as to protrude outward. The holder is divided longitudinally into two split parts A and B so that each of the two split parts A and B has an semicircularly formed inner circumferential surface , and each of the two split parts A and B has one longitudinal end side in which one of the half parts of the elastic packing is mounted, and has the other longitudinal end side in which a ring-like groove is formed so as to be fitted to the flange portion , and further has a longitudinally intermediate portion between the one and the other longitudinal end sides in which a spiral corrugated portion is formed along the outer circumferential surface of the pipe P, the spiral corrugated portion having a spiral protruding portion an inner diameter of which is smaller than an outer diameter of a trough portion r of the pipe P, the two split parts A and B having holes for insertion of connection bolts.

There is provided a heat insulating hose which comprises a seamless cylindrical inner tube formed of a synthetic resin, and a cylindrical heat insulating layer formed of a foamed synthetic resin for covering an outer peripheral face of the inner tube, characterized in that the inner tube is provided at its one end with a cylindrical part for connection with a drain outlet of an air conditioning appliance and formed with a number of ring-shaped protrusion stripes which project toward its outer circumference over an entire length thereof in its axial direction except the cylindrical part spacing a distance W which is wider than an axial width w of each of the ring-shaped protrusion stripes, and that an area b of a desired range spaced by a determined length a from the cylindrical part is an area wherein a number of ring-shaped protrusion stripes are formed at a smaller distance s. Thereby, it is possible to provide a heat insulating hose which can be easily bent at an acute angle for a piping arrangement in a discharging direction such as toward a hole in a wall or the like from a position where it comes out of an air conditioning appliance or the like, and which is not unpleasant in an outer appearance.

With a desired intermediate portion as a boundary, in a hose, a corrugated wall is formed on one side of the boundary while a scalene-triangularly corrugated wall is formed on the other side of the boundary, the whole of a hose is formed of a soft synthetic resin material and a hard synthetic resin material in the form of a double-layered wall. The soft synthetic resin material is made thicker than the hard synthetic resin material in a portion on a connection cylindrical portion side while the hard synthetic resin material is made thicker than the soft synthetic resin material in a portion on a drainage cylindrical portion side.

A novel cell line for use as a parent for hybridoma preparation is provided. This cell line is derived from tumor cells, in particular human tumor cells, other than those originating from bone marrow cells. A method for establishing this cell line is also provided. By fusing this cell line with cells producing useful physiologically active substances, such as B cells immunized with an antigen, a hybridoma capable of active growth can be prepared. This hybridoma can be cultivated for the production of useful physiologically active substances.
