A tire pressure measuring apparatus provides a warning of an error of a tire air pressure measuring module only when it is not that determined a vehicle stops and also any on of receivers has not received an air pressure data signal for an error determining duration. Therefore, a probability of a false warning can be reduced.

Tire air pressure measuring apparatus which reduces the probability of false warnings

A wheel condition-monitoring system comprises transmitters () installed on individual rotatable wheels, for transmitting conditions of the wheels, and a receiver () installed on the side of a vehicle body, for receiving the conditions of the wheels sent from the transmitters. The rotation speed of the wheels are detected, and data that indicate the conditions of the wheels are sent from the transmitters () to the receiver () at intervals in accordance with the rotation speeds detected, or data that relate to a pressure etc. are sent for a predetermined number of times at a transmission interval of a first cycle that assumes a high speed range. At the same time, data transmission of a predetermined number of times corresponding to the transmission interval of the first cycle is repeated for a predetermined number of times at a transmission interval of a second cycle that assumes a low speed range and is longer than the first cycle. This increases reliability in data transmission and reception, and enables the system to function stably in the presence of a dead point.

Wheel condition monitoring system

The sensor unit is operated based on a first timing signal with a first interval. If there is no second timing signal with a second interval longer than the first interval, a tire internal-pressure information signal is transmitted when the alarm device judges a moving of a vehicle based on a signal from the tire rotational-movement detecting means, the signal having the tire internal-pressure data with a start bit, and the transmission of the tire internal-pressure information signal is stopped when the device judges a non-moving of said vehicle. If there is the second timing signal, the tire internal-pressure information signal is transmitted when the device judges the moving of the vehicle and N pieces of tire internal-pressure information signals are transmitted at third intervals (N is a natural number not less than 2) when the device judges a non-moving of the vehicle, each tire internal-pressure information signal having the tire internal-pressure data with said start bit. When a main switch of the vehicle is on, the receiving-side module is always in an operating state. When the main switch is off, the receiving-side module is intermittently operated at fourth intervals, each forth interval is shorter than (N&#x2212;) times of the third interval, such that a second duration for operation of the receiving-side module is longer than the third interval.

Alarm device for internal pressure of tire

In a damping apparatus, a magnet section is connected to a vibration-elimination-table mounting frame on the side of a vibration elimination table via layered rubber blocks that are rigid in the axial direction but flexible in directions perpendicular to the axial direction, so that with respect to the mounting frame, the magnet section is supported to be flexible in the direction of force generated by a drive coil but rigid in the directions perpendicular to the direction of the force. The magnet section is supported by a floor mounting frame on the floor side via layered rubber blocks, so that with respect to the floor mounting frame, the magnet section is supported to be rigid in the direction of the force but flexible in directions perpendicular to the direction of the force. Accordingly, an air gap in which a drive coil is disposed can be narrowed, while preventing interference of the drive coil, so that a larger force can be generated in order to damp the vibration elimination table while preventing the magnetic flux density from decreasing. Moreover, the layered rubber blocks shut off vertical vibrations of the floor.

Damping apparatus

A vibration isolating apparatus and a vibration isolating table for reliably controlling vibration of an object of vibration isolation. A coil-mounting main body is mounted on the vibration isolating table and a yoke-mounting main body is mounted on a floor. A coil of the coil-mounting main body is disposed in a gap of a yoke where magnetic flux passes through, in a state in which the coil does not contact the yoke. An acceleration sensor for detecting a vibration is mounted on the vibration isolating table and is connected to a controlling device. The controlling device receives an acceleration detecting signal from the acceleration sensor and controls an electric current applied to the coil such that vibration acting on the vibration isolating table becomes zero. Since the coil and the yoke are disposed in a non-contact state, even though vibration shifted in any direction other than a direction in which the coil moves is generated on the floor, the vibration is not transmitted to the vibration isolating table.

Disclosed is a vibration control method being largely effective in vibration-proof even when a natural frequency is relatively low and its transmissibility of vibration is high and being thus effective in reducing vibration in a wide range of frequencies; and its apparatus. In the above method, vibration information of a vibration source as a reference signal and vibration information of a vibration-proof object as an error signal are inputted into an adaptive filter. The reference signal is processed by regenerating a filter coefficient on the basis of adaptive algorithm, to form a feedforward signal. In the other hand, vibration information of the vibration-proof object is inputted in a feedback calculating means, and a feedback control signal is formed on the basis of a feedback control rule. The feedforward control signal and the feedback control signal are synthesized, to form a drive signal for a vibration exciting means. The vibration exciting means is thus controlled and driven on the basis of the drive signal.

Method and apparatus for controlling vibration

A vibration isolating device comprises a base, a plurality of support members each placed onto the base and comprised of a two series layer of an electroviscous body and an elastomeric body, and a cradle supported through these support members. These support members are provided with circuit for applying voltage to each electroviscous body, respectively.

A vibration damping apparatus for transportation includes a vertical direction damping device having air springs and air dampers arranged in parallel on a base and horizontal direction damping device having laminated rubbers. The vertical and horizontal damping devices are combined in series for supporting a load base. The apparatus further includes an air supply source for supplying air into the air springs, control valves provided between the air springs and the air supply source for controlling air supply into and exhaust from the air springs, displacement detecting device for detecting displacements of the load base relative to the bases, and control device for controlling the control valves on the basis of results detected by the displacement detecting device to maintain the load base horizontally and at a constant level relative to the base whatever load is loaded on the load base.
