The ophthalmic imaging apparatus () of an embodiment example performs motion contrast imaging by applying OCT scanning to an eye (E). The data acquiring unit () acquires a plurality of pieces of time-course data respectively corresponding to a plurality of scan points, by conducting repetitive A-scan application to individual scan points. The image constructing unit () constructs a motion contrast image from the plurality of pieces of time-course data acquired. The controller () controls the data acquiring unit such that data acquisition time intervals of first time-course data corresponding to a first scan point of the plurality of scan points and data acquisition time intervals of second time-course data corresponding to a second scan point become substantially equal to each other.

An exemplary OCT apparatus includes a scanner, controller, phase information generator, phase information processor. The scanner applies an OCT scan to an object using an optical scanner. The controller controls the scanner to perform a first scan that scans a cross section of the object in a first scan direction and a second scan that scans a cross section of the object in a second scan direction opposite to the first scan direction. The phase information generator generates first phase information based on first acquisition data acquired by the first scan and second phase information based on second acquisition data acquired by the second scan. The phase information processor generates composite phase information based on the first phase information and the second phase information.

In a scanning imaging apparatus of some aspect examples, a scanner applies an optical scan to a sample to acquire data. A scan controller controls the scanner to sequentially apply, to the sample, pattern scans according to a two-dimensional pattern including cycles. A movement unit relatively moves a scan area corresponding to the two-dimensional pattern and the sample. A movement controller controls the movement unit such that cycles in first and second scans of the pattern scans cross each other. An image constructing unit constructs an image based on data acquired under controls performed by the scan controller and the movement controller. The scan controller and the movement controller perform controls of the scanner and the movement unit respectively such that first and second cycles in a pattern scan cross each other at least at one point.

An ophthalmologic information processing apparatus includes an acquisition unit, a tissue specifying unit, and a specifying unit. The acquisition unit is configured to acquire a tomographic image of a subject's eye. The specifying unit is configured to obtain second shape data representing shape of the tissue based on the plurality of first shape data acquired by the tissue specifying unit.

An ophthalmologic apparatus includes an SLO system, a projection system, a first image former, a second image former, a displacement processor, and a controller. The SLO system is configured to scan a target eye with first light deflected by an first optical scanner. The projection system is configured to project second light deflected by an second optical scanner onto the target eye. The first image former is configured to form a first image of the target eye based on a scan result of a first scan region using the first optical scanner. The second image former is configured to form a second image of the target eye based on a scan result of a second scan region using the first optical scanner, the second scan region being narrower than the first scan region. The displacement processor is configured to calculate a displacement between a partial image in the first image and the second image, the partial image corresponding to the second image. The controller is configured to control the second optical scanner based on the displacement.

An ophthalmologic apparatus of embodiments includes an OCT unit, an acquisition unit, and a specifying unit. The OCT unit is configured to acquire a tomographic image of a subject's eye using optical coherence tomography. The acquisition unit is configured to acquire a front image of the subject's eye. The specifying unit is configured to specify shape of a tissue of the subject's eye based on the tomographic image acquired by the OCT unit and the front image acquired by the acquisition unit.

An ophthalmologic information processing apparatus includes an acquisition unit, a tissue specifying unit, and a specifying unit. The acquisition unit is configured to acquire a tomographic image of a subject's eye formed based on scan data acquired using an optical system for performing optical coherence tomography on the subject's eye. The tissue specifying unit is configured to acquire first shape data representing shape of a tissue of the subject's eye by performing segmentation processing on the tomographic image. The specifying unit is configured to specify a low sensitivity component having a small variation with respect to a change in a position of the optical system with respect to the subject's eye from the first shape data, and to obtain second shape data representing shape of the tissue based on the specified low sensitivity component.

An optical coherence tomography (OCT) apparatus according to an embodiment is configured to split light from a light source into measurement light and reference light, project the measurement light on an object, and detect interference light generated from the reference light and the measurement light returning from the object. The OCT apparatus includes a dispersion unit and an information generation unit. The dispersion unit is configured to relatively change a dispersion characteristic of a measurement optical path which is an optical path of the measurement light and a dispersion characteristic of a reference optical path which is an optical path of the reference light, according to an operation mode corresponding to a depth range. The information generation unit is configured to generate information on the object according to the operation mode, based on a detection result of the interference light.
