Provided is an ink jet liquid composition including an organic solvent, a bifunctional urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer having a weight-average molecular weight of 2,000 to 15,000, a photopolymerization initiator, and a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, in which a content of the organic solvent is 40% by mass or more and 90% by mass or less with respect to a total mass of the liquid composition. Also provided is an ink jet recording method using the ink jet liquid composition.

Ink jet liquid composition and ink jet recording method

An ink jet liquid composition contains an organic solvent, a polymerizable compound, a photopolymerization initiator, and a polyether-modified siloxane compound having a weight-average molecular weight of 3,000 or more, and the content of the organic solvent is 40% by mass or more and 90% by mass or less with respect to the total mass of the composition. In addition, an ink jet recording method using the ink jet liquid composition is provided.

Provided are an ink set having: a colored ink including a solvent A1 at a content of 30% by mass or more, a polymer C1, and a colorant; and a clear ink including a solvent A2 at a content of 30% by mass or more and a bifunctional or higher-functional (meth)acrylate compound X2 having a weight average molecular weight of 1,000 to 30,000, the clear ink including X2 at a content of 5% by mass or more, in which the solubility of C1 in A2 is 10% by mass or higher; and an image forming method using this ink set.

Image forming method

A black ink composition is provided which suppresses change in hue and can form an image with superior blocking resistance and scratch resistance. The black ink composition for ink jet recording includes a carbon black pigment; at least any one type of colorant pigment which is selected from a magenta pigment and a cyan pigment; a water-soluble polymerizable compound; a polymerization initiator; and water, wherein the average primary particle diameter of the carbon black pigment is 20 nm or more and less than 35 nm, the content ratio of the carbon black pigment with regard to the total mass of all of the pigments is 70 mass % or less, and the total mass of all of the pigments with regard to the total mass of the black ink composition is 4 mass % or less.

An ink composition having excellent storage stability and curing properties after an image formation and an image forming method using the ink composition are provided. An ink composition including (A) a polymerizable compound represented by the following general formula (1) and (B) a polymerization initiator and an image forming method using the ink composition.  In the general formula (1), Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group. Rrepresents a liner or branched alkylene group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms. However, in R, it is not possible to have a structure in which an oxygen atom and a nitrogen atom which are bonded to both ends of Rare bonded to the same carbon atom of R. Rrepresents a divalent linking group. k represents 2 or 3. x, y and z each independently represent an integer of 0 to 6 and x+y+z satisfies 0 to 18.
