An LCD includes a 2-D array of pixels including at least one transmissive light modulator including a first light modulation signal input, and at least one reflective light modulator including a second light modulation signal input, a processor configured to provide a plurality of images to a display driver; and a display driver configured to provide the plurality of images to the 2-D array of pixels, wherein the display driver provides a first image frame to the transmissive light modulator, wherein the display driver provides a second image frame to the reflective light modulator; wherein the display driver provides a first image frame to the transmissive light modulator, wherein the display driver provides a second image frame to the reflective light modulator, and wherein the first image frame is displayed by the transmissive light modulator at the same time the second image frame is displayed by the reflective light modulator.

Hybrid liquid crystal display

A wearable electronic device includes a conductive housing, which has a main body and at least a first pair of conductive lugs external to and mechanically coupled to the main body. The main body of the conductive housing forms at least part of an antenna structure that is adapted for at least one of generating or receiving the wireless radio frequency signal. The wearable electronic device further includes a non-conductive pin, which extends between the ends of the conductive lugs, and a use location attachment. The use location attachment includes a plurality of segments, where at least one of the segments, which most closely mechanically couples to the non-conductive pin and the first pair of conductive lugs, is nonconductive, and where other ones of the plurality of segments of the use location attachment are conductive.

There is described a display having a front surface, in which the display comprises a first area of the front surface and a second area of the front surface located adjacent to the first area. A direction of the longer dimension of the first area is substantially orthogonal to a direction of the longer dimension of the second area.

The present invention provides a band for encircling another object with latch attachment. The band includes a plurality of layers, combined together in a stacked arrangement, where the front side facing of the first layer will form a front side facing of the band, and the back side facing of the last layer will form a back side facing of the band. A latch attachment including a latch connection point, where the latch attachment is located between two adjacent layers of the plurality of layers at an internal position along a length of the band proximate to one end of the band, but still a distance away from an edge of said one end of the band. Each layer between the location of the latch attachment within the stack of the plurality of layers and the back side facing of the band has a corresponding aligned opening in the layer for exposing the latch connection point through the back side facing of the band.
