An electrochemical device of the present invention includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a non-aqueous electrolyte, and a separator. The first porous layer is disposed to face the negative electrode.

A slurry for forming an insulating layer of the present invention includes heat-resistant insulating fine particles, a thickening agent, and a dispersion medium. The insulating fine particles are dispersed in the dispersion medium. The slurry for forming an insulating layer has a viscosity of 5 to 500 mPa&#xb7;s. The proportion of particles with a particle size of 1 &#x3bc;m or less in the insulating fine particles is 30 vol % or more and the proportion of particles with a particles size of 3 &#x3bc;m or more in the insulating fine particles is 10 vol % or less. Method for producing electrochemical device

There is provided a lithium ion secondary battery with a high capacity and having excellent cycle characteristics. The lithium ion secondary battery, including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator and a nonaqueous electrolyte liquid. Here, the positive electrode comprises a positive electrode material in which a surface of particles of a positive electrode active material is coated with an Al-containing oxide. The Al-containing oxide has an average coating thickness of 5 to 50 nm. The positive electrode active material contained in the positive electrode material comprises a lithium cobalt oxide comprising Co and at least one kind of an element Mselected from the group consisting of Mg, Zr, Ni, Mn, Ti and Al. The negative electrode comprises a material S including SiO(0.5&#x2266;x&#x2266;1.5) as a negative electrode active material, wherein in 100 mass % of a total of the negative electrode active material included in the negative electrode, the materials S is included in the negative electrode active material at a content of 10 mass % or more.

Lithium ion secondary battery

The present invention provides a lithium secondary battery using a separator including a porous film formed by binding inorganic oxide particles together with a binder. The inorganic oxide particles are treated so that an amount of alkali metal elements eluted therefrom when they are immersed in ion exchange water is reduced to 1000 ppm or less. As a result, it is possible to provide a lithium secondary battery with a high degree of reliability, whose characteristics deteriorate less when it is used or stored for an extended period.

Front and rear side flange portions of a filter accommodating cylinder are provided with positioning pins. A flange portion of an upstream cylinder is provided with a notched groove and a flange portion of a downstream cylinder is provided with a notched groove. In consequence, when the filter accommodating cylinder is connected between the upstream cylinder and the downstream cylinder, each of the positioning pins disposed at the front and rear flange portions is engaged with each notched groove of the upstream cylinder and the downstream cylinder. The filter accommodating cylinder can be positioned to be coaxial with the upstream cylinder and the downstream cylinder. As a result, after performing a cleaning operation to a DPF, an operation of once again connecting the filter accommodating cylinder between the upstream cylinder and the downstream cylinder can be quickly and easily performed.

Exhaust gas treatment device

A separator for an electrochemical device of the present invention includes a porous film including: a filler; an organic binder; and at least one resin selected from resin A that has a melting point of 80 to 140&#xb0; C. and resin B that absorbs a non-aqueous electrolyte and swells upon heating and whose swelling degree increases with increasing temperature, and the filler contains boehmite having a secondary particle structure in which primary particles are connected.

An engaging groove () with which a gasket () is engaged is provided in each of a front side projecting portion () and a rear side projecting portion () formed in a filter accommodating cylinder () to be positioned on an outer peripheral surface (A,A) of each projecting portion (). Therefore, when the gasket () latches on each of the projecting portion () to be fitted thereon from an outside, the gasket () can be engaged with the engaging groove () provided in each of the projecting portions (). In consequence, at the time of mounting and removing the filter accommodating cylinder (), the falling-off of the gasket () can be prevented, and, for example, an inspection operation, a cleaning operation and the like of an accommodated particulate matter removing filter () can be easily performed.

Disclosed is an exhaust assembly for a construction machine having a revolving upperstructure and an engine mounted on the revolving upperstructure. The exhaust assembly is to be arranged inside the revolving upperstructure of the construction machine, and is provided with an after-treatment device for exhaust gas from the engine and an exhaust pipe for releasing exhaust gas, which has been guided from an outlet port of the after-treatment device, to an outside. The exhaust assembly includes a concave-convex part, which has plural concavities and convexities, is arranged on an inner wall of the exhaust pipe, and extends in a direction of discharge of the exhaust gas.

An engine () is mounted to a vehicle body by means of vibration isolating mounts (E), and a support member () is mounted to the engine (). Vibration isolating members () are provided between this support member () and a mounting bracket () mounted to an exhaust gas treatment device (). Accordingly, even in cases where the engine () has generated high-frequency vibrations, these vibrations can be damped by the vibration isolating mounts (E) and the vibration isolating members (). In consequence, treatment members constituting the exhaust gas treatment device (), such as a catalyst, a filter, and a sensor, can be protected from the vibrations of the engine (). In addition, as the exhaust gas treatment device () is provided with the mounting bracket (), the vibration isolating members () can be reliably mounted to the exhaust gas treatment device () by means of the mounting bracket ().
